Your Questions About The Oldest Natural Pregnancy

Laura asks…

teen sex and parents ?!?

I’m a 15 years old girl and I just lost my virginity recently. Don’t get me wrong we love eachother. he was my bestfriend at first and now we been together for one year and two months.

I want to tell this to my mom and be honest but she is more likely to yell and lose my trust bring up the whole religion STD pregnancy talk. My mom is foreign so she raise me our tadition way. She wont understand the way things work in America. My boyfriend told his mom and she told him to always be protected and gave him condoms.

Sex is a natural thing. You make your own decision. Just because a parent says ”no” kids would stop ?

Michelle answers:

Well, I’m not sure what your question is but in the end, it really is the person’s own choice. Though, my personal opinion is that I want to save my virginity for my husband so that I have something special to give him.

Sex can mess teenagers up big time. What if during sex the condom breaks? You could end up pregnant and you’d have to choose between keeping the baby or giving it up for adoption, or killing it by having an abortion. Also, your mother could take your boyfriend/bestfriend to court for rape and sex for minors.

So you practically just broke the law by having sex…

Hope I helped you a little.

Donald asks…

is everybody’s baby like this?

At around 8 months of pregnancy, i started going through preterm labour and had to limit my activity. My water broke a week early (39 weeks-7am) and i was in the hospital at around 10am. I stayed in active labour until 11pm when the doctor came and induced me and advised me to go for an epidural (i was opting for a natural labour) i said no and continued pushing. At 1am after no progress, i went in for an emergency c-section. My baby girl was 9.5lbs and 24 inches 🙂

A week after my c-section, i ended up in the hospital again as i developed an infection and was bleeding from the incision site. this continued for about 4 weeks. I was on antibiotics and unable to breast feed (as the medication made my baby sleepy)

4 weeks after, when i got better…my baby wouldn’t take the breast and my problems continued. she would cry when coming off the bottle and having burping problems. It would take so long to feed her as she would occasionally vomit as well.

When she started getting used to the bottle, she developed problems with her formula and i went from ready-to-feed to powder. BUT the powder caused her to cough and i went BACK to ready-to-feed (the nurse said as long as i was on the same brand-enfamil-i could switch types)

AFTER her feeding problem, she developed very hard and green stool. I took her to the hospital and the doctors found nothing wrong with her. Her poo was very hard and dry and we gave her warm baths and exercises, she’s still crying when she poops, but i guess thats normal.

NOW, she has little red bumps over her face, neck and chest. We’re told it’s prickly heat and am trying to keep her cool. In addition to this, whenever we have visitors over she doesnt sleep well at night, she cries uncontrolably at night and wont sleep. We thought it was colic but she doesnt cry for 3 hours ALL the time, just for an hour near her bedtime in the eveing and ONLY after we have visitors.

I keep waiting for things to get easier and better…but they dont. My baby girl is about 2 months old and i just feel depressed most of the time because it seems i have the most horrible luck.

Will things improve? Sometimes i just feel like taking a short vacation…i feel as if i’ve almost reached my limit….any advice?

Michelle answers:

Wow, I had of those problems. I had an episeotomy and couldn’t breastfeed either.

With the formula milk I advise you to go for Cow and Gate or a brand that is very light. Breastmilk is thin and has quite a bit of water in it. My Evie cried continually and was in alot of pain with constipation until I changed her milk.

Also, give your little one water during the day. 2oz’s makes a huge difference. It will also help the milkrash that has appeared. Evie had it to but it does go away. I recommend Johnson;s Soothing lotion. Its very good at getting rid of it fast. Either that or a tad of Sudocreme. Leave the baby in only her nappy for a few hours too. Provided that the room is warm then its no harm. Sometimes clothes rubbing causes it.

Please don’t feel any of this is your fault- because you probably do. I did too but I know that if I’d be given the above information faster I would have spared myself alot of grief.

Try changing the milk and don’t worry about the reflux, it’ll take a while for her to get used to burping. Just wind her half way through a bottle and use something like gripe water. It works wonders and will cure the poo problem. Do not use Infacol. I found it only made things worse.

Good luck and email me if you need any more help. I’d gladly give it. Hang in there, it’ll get better xx

edit- by the way, i don’t think you have PPD or PND, you’re just a very tired, concerned new mummy. You’ll feel better once you have her on different lighter milk!

Debating on a Breast Augmentation?

I am a 21 yr. old mom and my breast size is a 32 B– pretty small and similar to a 34 A– My boobs still look great (not saggy, still symetrical) but i feel like they are a tad deflated since my pregnancy ended a year ago. I have talked to a surgeon and i can get implants with no problem. My question is– are bigger boobs really the answer or can i still be hot without them?? I would love to have big breasts, but some men prefer natural or small boobs. I don’t want to make a mistake. I am 5’5, 104 lbs– my measurements are 32,22,36

Michelle answers:

I think it should be based on how you feel about yourself, not how others feel. I have 3 friends who have fake boobs, mine are real but I am lucky to have natural D’s that thank goodness they have stayed perky lol!. But those 3 friends are really happy with theirs and have no regrets. I have a few other friends who are natural too but they have like B’s or A’s and they are happy. I don’t think any one person attracts more guys then the other so yeah, decide what you want and go for it.

Sharon asks…

I’m 36 weeks 4days pregnant with my first baby. I’m having great pain in my waist.?

I’m 24 years old and it’s my first baby. I don’t know what’s going wrong with me. I’m having pain in my lower back and waist all day long. My doctor advised me to sustain the pain. Will anybody tell me if it is natural?
The ultrasound report says my baby is 3.1 kg by now. Doctor is telling me to live with this for three more weeks. It’s painful. Any help or advice? I’m not diabetic and my blood group is O+. I was 46 prior to pregnancy and now about 59kg.

Michelle answers:

I’ve have four babies. Sounds like the baby is pushing on your back and the extra weight is also stressing your back. It will all go away very, very soon. In the meantime, find the most comfortable position to sit and sleep in. Use as many pillows as you need! Hang on – relief is around the corner!
