William asks…
What could be causing this?
Im nearly 5 months pregnant and for the past four days Ive been getting migraines in the early hours of the morning, then after I wake up Ive got a really sensitive head for the rest of the day.
Ive been to the nurse but my blood pressure is perfect and Ive cut out chocolate, cheese and switch to decaff tea.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this or is this all natural? I suffered extremely bad migraines with my daughter but they were later on in the pregnancy and related to BP. I have been taking paracetemol but im not comfortable taking them so any home remedies would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Unfortunately some of us do suffer from migraines during pregnancy 🙁
It’s just one of those joys that we have to put up with I’m afraid. I’m suffering from the same thing at the moment and my blood pressure is fine too. This is my 4th child and I didn’t suffer from this with any of my other pregnancies. Seems to be completely random but all natural and although it’s really unpleasant it doesn’t harm baby.
4head which is a roller fluid applied to the temples is safe during pregnancy as an alternative to paracetemol. But Paracetemol is cleared for use when your pregnant so moderate amounts are fine.
Sometimes this problem lessens in later pregnancy so lets hope that happens for us! Good luck!

HOW MUCH Chamomile tea will help induce labor?
I read that chamomile tea (in large amounts) is not good to drink during pregnancy, until the end, because it can cause contractions. I am TRYING to cause contractions, and i have read several peoples stories saying it really helps you go into labor. I just need to know HOW MUCH do i drink everyday?
I’m 37 weeks and 3 days, I want to have a natural labor but my doctor has scheduled me for a c section at 40 weeks because I have gestational diabetes and that is what my health care providers policy is. I had an ultrasound yesterday and my baby is average size and measuring at 37 weeks, so i’m NOT going to have a BIG baby, and thats the only reason they make women have the c section. doesnt really make sense in every case.
Please don’t tell me that it doesn’t work or about other remedies, I know them ALL, and I am just trying to avaoid a c sections. ONLY ANSWER IF YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I SHOULD BE DRINKING PLEASE!!
I DONT WANT SMART ASS REPLIES>>>THANKS!
Michelle answers:
Chamomile tea is not safe to drink during pregnancy for a reason and that doesn’t change just cause you want to cause contractions. I would say none is safe to drink. Try using a different method, or contact your doctor and see what they recomend for you to do.

Nancy asks…
Advice please!? Temps still elevated but BFN!?
Okay, here comes a lot of info: DH and I have been TTC #1 for 5 months. I recently learned my luteal phase was too short (8-9 days) and so began self-treating with vit B6 and natural progesterone cream. This month I ovulated a day later than expected but still BD’d plenty within the necessary time frame. I am now 12 DPO (home remedies work!!) and my basal temps are still elevated but my first morning urine test this a.m. was negative. My FertilityFriend.com chart shows what looks to be an implantation dip at 7 DPO and then a possible triphasic elevation after that. I will keep testing periodically until AF makes her way to me but has anyone else experienced anything like this? If my period was due yesterday and I used a sensitive HPT, wouldn’t pregnancy be detected? Or is it still too early? Thanks in advance!
How do I post my FertilityFriend.com chart? I would love to put it up here but don’t know how!!
Sorry, forgot to mention the progesterone cream. It’s called Natural Progesterone Cream and the company is Source Naturals. It’s paraben free and I got it from my local health-food/organic market. It’s in a 4 ounce jar with a burgundy colored lid. It and the B6 seem to be doing something!!

Can you post the sharing like to your fertility friend chart?? I love looking at charts!!!
If you think you implanted on 7dpo, you’ll want ot give yourself 7-9 days AFTER that to test. It sometimes takes a while to get your levels up enough to show up on an HPT.
Congratz on the 12 day luteal phase!! I’d also love to know what natural progestrone cream you are using? My luteal phase is only 11 days 🙁

Any “home remedy” ideas for increasing libido in women?
I am in my late twenties and very happily married. My husband and I are still newlyweds and fall more in love with each other everyday. He is ALWAYS in the mood and telling me how incredibly attracted he is to me. When we first started dating, I couldn’t keep my hands off of him. Over the last couple of months though, I seem to have lost my sex drive. I have just (this week) finished my last cycle of birth control and have decided to go natural. I have been on some form of birth control for over 10 years in order to regulate my cycle. My husband and I cannot have children, so there is no fear of pregnancy. I need help figuring out why my libido has fallen and any ideas to improve it. Thank you.
Michelle answers:
Yes, there are many home remedies to increase your libido to put the sizzle back into your marriage!
There are many natural food aphrodisiacs such as chocolate, bananas, asparagus, strawberries, peaches, and oysters. You may also want to try some natural spices including vanilla, ginseng, and pepper. You can find a great article on these natural aphrodisiacs here: http://www.womans-health.net/natural_food_aphrodisiacs.htm
The website actually has several other helpful articles to increase libido with natural solutions that you should definitely check out!
Hope this helps!
