Mark asks…
clearblue pregnancy test kit accuracy?
ok ill just give the basics
1: age 35
2: using natural contraception . ie withdrawal
3: 1 week late period
4; took clearblue pregnancy test yesterday and got a fairly quick negative result,
what are the chance i could be pregnant giving that clearblue says it can tell you if you are pregnant 4 days before period is due
not experiencing any symptoms ie. sickness , food aversion , tender breasts etc… not sure if it is too soon anyway
and yes i will go see my gp inevitably ,
any ideas, ????? thanx every1 for taking the time to answer x x x x x x
Michelle answers:
Withdrawal is NOT a form of contraceptive, i fell pregnant that way.. So its not a good idea.
If your one week late theres a reason, pregnant or something else
gp tests are the most accurate tests, & through both my pregnancy’s theyre the only ones which have told me possitive.. So good luck for which ever result you want. But if your not wanting to get pregnant i suggest you invest in a propper contraceptive

Positive pregnancy test, but wanting to have a natural home birth?
What are the first steps I should take here? Contact a midwife? With my other children I had hospital births, but I don’t want that for this pregnancy. I live in Texas around the Dallas area if that helps any. Thank you!
Michelle answers:
Direct entry midwifery is legal in Texas, so finding a midwife would be much the same as finding an OB — talk to friends (try your local La Leche League if you don’t know anyone whose had a home birth), check the phone book, interview midwives, and find one you are comfortable with. She will let her know her schedule for prenatal care and such.
(The midwife will already be working with an OB for necessary back-up — so far as I’m aware there are no OB practices that actually do home births.)

Daniel asks…
My period is late by 11 days I have taken 3 pregnancy test all negative, Anyone know why my period is MIA?
Do you think it is stress? I have only had 2 postpartum periods. are there any Natural ways to get my period to regulate again?
Michelle answers:
I’m sure it’s stress and I read somewhere that it can also take a while for your period to get back to normal after having a baby. =)
I’ve heard eating parsley helps, but it’s probably just an old wives’ tale.

Maria asks…
Negative pregnancy test. Week late on period ?
Ok. So i had a natural miscarriage July 9th- July 15th. All my pregnancy symptoms were gone by the 12th of July.(I was only about 3 weeks) My period would have been due (28 day cycle) on august 6th. I know after a miscarrriage it can take a while for your cylcles to be normal, if they ever do. Anyways, I’m having different pregnancy symptoms. When I was pregnant with my MC I had swollen boobs. No nipple color change.Sore breasts. Peeing a lot. And nausea. The only difference this time is I don’t have swollen boobs. Boobs are a lot more sore than last time. but the circle around my nipples are getting darker. I’ve been nauseous. Bloated. And more tired. I have taken many pregnancy test and negative. (except for one dissapearing positive line) so my question is, has anyone ever experienced pregnancy symptoms after a miscarriage and not been pregnant? Or has been pregnant? Btw I’m going to the dr next week and I just want some opinions while I’m waiting.
Btw im 20 and if I am pregnant, I would be ( I think) about 4 weeks
Thanks
Michelle answers:
It sounds like you are (: ! Yay. Are you taking your pregnancy tests with first morning urine? That’s the best time to take them . I know its hard but just wait and see what the doctor says. (Sorry about your mc) good luck and lots of baby dust (:
