I am taking natural progesterone, how can you tell side effects vs. being pregnant?
O.k. I have enlarged breasts and I felt nauseated for 2 days straight. I am really hungry as well. I am 12 DPO and I took a First Response pregnancy test–It was negative this AM. I still feel pregnant, and I was wondering if it was the progesterone, or maybe I tested too early. Has anyone else exprienced this? I have exprienced 2 early miscarriages and I am so anxious to get pregnant! Any help would be welcomed! Thank you!
By the way, my period is due Tuesday 11/7/06. So I took the HPT 4 days prior (the box said you can…)
Michelle answers:
When I took natural progesterone, I felt nauseated and generally ill most of the time. I actually felt Worse than I did when I was pregnant! (No Kidding!) As you know, a negative test this early may not be a negative. Definitely test again on 11/7.
Good Luck ttc!
Mark asks…
am i pregnant test negative?
the last time i had my periods was 20th dec 2010, i have regular periods and this is the 1st time i have ever been late, i am now 9 days late, i took a pregnancy test today which came back negative, would it be too early to tell if i was pregnant,
we have never had unprotected sex, weve used condoms, and were pretty sure they have never split.
help please as i am worrying, to why i havnt come on my periods as of yet?
is ot natural in women to miss periods?
Michelle answers:
Unusual, perhaps. Not unheard of. I’d take another test. If it still says negative, then I’d just assume your hormones are temporarily gone bonkers. Don’t worry about it.

Natural Birth Control…..help?
I have been with my husband for 6 years now and have been on birth control since we met. We have decided to quit taking it. I have had problem after problem from it, nausea, tired all the time, low sex drive, mood swings etc. Though I want to stop taking it we aren’t completely set on having a baby yet. So, I have heard of natural birth control and I’m having a hard time understanding all of it….is there anyone that uses this? And how do we go about it. I tried using an on line calendar, but I couldn’t remember the exact day of my last period. Plus I’m still waiting on my period to start I’m about a two weeks late (which I took a pregnancy test a few days ago) so anyway, I guess I have to wait until I can track a few periods right?? Thanks…..
Michelle answers:
Look up info on the fertility awareness method, NOT the rhythm method. You will need to buy a basal thermometer and take your temp every morning before you get up or anything to keep track of when you are ovulating and check your cervical mucus and position. It sounds like a complete pain at first but it really isn’t so bad. If you just track when you are suppose to ovulate based on when you get your period it won’t necessairly be the exact date that you do ovulate and you could risk getting pregnant.
Chris asks…
Has anyone experienced getting pregnant soon after a miscarriage and only experiencing a missed period?
I had a all natural miscarriage on July 15th at 4 weeks. My HCG level was 0 on July 25th. I was just wondering for people who have miscarried and who have gotten pregnant soon after miscarrying if you had any pregnancy symptoms other then no period. I know it is possible to become pregnant but did you have any symptoms if so what were they? My doctor said it was fine to try whenever I felt emotionally ready I haven’t gotten my period yet and no symptoms that it will be soon. Today hits the 4 week marker from my miscarriage and I am thinking of doing a pregnancy test but I was just wondering should I wait and see if my period comes in the next 2 weeks or take a test? Maybe I have to much high hopes but I would really appreciate your answers or any advice you can give me. Thank you
Michelle answers:

Good luck and I am glad someone else is trying right after a miscarriage. I hope everything goes well.
