Linda asks…
is it too early to test for pregnancy?
I had sex with my boyfriend about 2 and weeks ago, before it about 3 weeks before that date. We dont have it very often. He likes it bare back. And I am off birth control since May of 2010. I was on Depo Provera. Said about 9 months to get pregnant. Its toxic so want to be all natural until wares out. Been 10 months now.
Yesterday I felt awful, ever since then been peeing a lot frequent, feel like barfing a lot, sick to my stomach, feel like somethings in my tummy. Been gagging a lot especially when waking up and during the night tonight been puking up some stuff in my mouth and into the toilet. Stuff has been tasting a lot different I notice when eating a honey dipped donut tasted weird, pop tastes weird some smells like chocolate smells stronger than normal.
My hormones have been messed up I am not in the mood like usual, not wanting some after that, my period is 2 weeks late.
When should I get tested and whats the best one for early detection? Clearblue, First response. Dollar Store one?
IM SCARED! I need help
Michelle answers:
If you’re 2 weeks late you don’t need to even worry about an “ealry detection” test… You will have a big positive by now if you are pregnant being so late with no period. Also those do sound like early pregnancy symptoms. Good luck and I hope you get the results you want! God bless. 🙂

How long after a miscarriage will a home pregnancy test be accurate?
I was 7 weeks along when I had a miscarriage, everything was natural, no d&c. It has been about 5 weeks since the start of the miscarriage (it lasted about a week) I took 2 home pregnancy tests yesterday and they both came out positive, could this be because my hcg levels are still up from the miscarriage or is it more likely that I am pregnant?
Michelle answers:
You can test positive for up to 6 weeks. Seeing as your 5 weeks testing positive try testing again in 2-3 weeks there might be a possibility your pregnant. I’m sorry to hear about your loss. Wish you well and hope you have a baby soon ill keep you in my prays. I know for a fact you can test positive for up to 6 weeks my first pregnancy i lost on Christmas eve 2005 i kept testing positive for weeks and the doctor told me you can test positive for 6 weeks.
Ruth asks…
The pregnancy test indicated positive, but there is a sign of period?
hi, last week, the pregnancy test indicated that my girlfriend is pregnant. So we went to see doctor and he said she is 99.9% pregnant and he counted probably pregnant for 5 weeks. However, today after we had sex, there was a litttle amount of blood coming out, seems like period. Is that normal? or may be natural abortion?
Michelle answers:
Sometimes after sex women spot when they are pregnant. If the spotting gets worse call the dr

Sore breasts for 2-3 weeks now, negative pregnancy test??????
My husband and i would like to conceive however I have secondary amenorrhea, I had a period induced by a provera challenge 10mg for 7 days january 20th..My doctor then suggested i try natural progesterone cream for 10 days the last 10 days of my cycle, anyways 3 days into taking the cream i started my period again feb 16th, i used it the whole 10 days in march though i did not start my period, I know it’s normal for woman with amenorrhea however my breasts have been slightly sore the past 2-3 weeks, I took a preg test 1 week after my missed period then again a couple of days ago and both came out negative. My breasts never hurt, not even befor my period. The only times my breasts would be sore is when i was pregnant unfortunately i lost them..I have not gotten a blood test yet though i have a appointment with an infertility specialist april 2nd..Do you think their is a chance i still might be preg even though both tests were neg? was suppose to start period march14th, im 2 weeks late
Michelle answers:
The progesterone cream increases hormones which could make your breast hurt, but hopefully your pregnant.Sore breast was my first sign of pregnancy. It started about a week after ovulation.I took numerous pee and blood test and they were all negative.I knew though that something wasn’t right.I finally got a positive result at 5 weeks pregnant.I would suggest retesting in a few days.Good luck!!!!!!!!!
