Your Questions About Natural Pregnancy Remedies

Joseph asks…

Kidney stones during pregnancy?

I just found out that I have kidney stones and I’m 35 weeks pregnant. This isn’t the first time I’ve had them, and for some reason I cannot pass them naturally. I’m just wondering if anyone has any natural remedies that will at least relieve the pain, or by some miracle help them to pass. I know cranberry juice is good for UTI’s, but does it help with stones as well? Any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Michelle answers:

Yes it can help for stones as well. My niece who is diabetic gets them constantly and she takes cranberry capsules which are concentrated so she doesn’t have to drink that stuff everyday. Make sure you get cranberry juice and not the cocktail though.

Anyone know any ways to induce a period?

I am 4 days late on my period but have a negative pregnancy test! I heard sex can help sometimes (my partner and I don’t have sex often) so last night we did, this morning I had some light pink spotting when I wiped, but that was it. No cramps nada. Anyone have any natural remedies?
I’m not even stressed out. I have a few things with school/work, but nothing more than usual. And I pretty much lay about after school so its not I’m not getting any “me” time.

Michelle answers:

If your not pregnant then not getting your period is moot. Sometimes some women miss their periods. It’s perfectly fine to mist you period for up to year I don’t mean that your infertile or there is something wrong with you. If you want to make sure that you have a regular period then go on the pill.

Mostly like your period date just changed. If you are hanging out or living with a new woman your period might change change dates to be the same as hers.

Michael asks…

It’s been seven weeks since my last period. How can I bring it on?

I have tested twice for pregnancy and both neg.
This scanty period has always been happening for me.
I would like some natural remedies please?
I have gained 3 kilos and my tummy is terribly bloated.
I have also had 5 sessions of acupuncture.
Need some relief soon before I go mental.

Michelle answers:

This has happened to me in the past. If you go to your physician, he or she can give you a prescription for progesterone pills to induce a period. But this is a “fake period.” It isn’t the result of ovulation. It is the result of the medication causing you to bleed. But it can jumpstart your cycle.

I have also done natural remedies, as well. I believe I took several herbs, in combination, although I can’t remember all of them. You can probably find them online.

Best of luck to you.

What can i do at home to heal after an ectopic pregnancy?

Boy is this wired asking this to the whole public but I do need you guys. I had an ectopic pregnancy which i had not known about until i started feeling a lot of lower abdominal pain and had to go straight to the OR for Laparoscopy which is known as keyhole surgery to remove the fallopian tube that ruptured with the fetus. Now that I’m back home for the next 4 weeks, does anyone whose has undergone the surgery know what are the do’s and don’t’s of self care at home are? I know about no heavy lifting but is there anything else? Anything I can eat to heal this large incision they made on my lower stomach? Is there anything that may seem so normal like sitting through a whole movie okay? I’m suppose to walk around but for how long? What natural remedies did you take to stop abdominal pain? Anything at all, please let me know. Please ONLY the women that have gone through this before. I’ve been reading all kinds of info ever since i got home and i need the real life ones. Thank you and have a blessed day.
