Joseph asks…
Is FOX news going to suffer any consequences for the live suicide they accidentally aired?
FOX news accidentally aired a man committing suicide after a high speed chase. Is the network or anyone involved going to suffer any kind of consequences for this? I’m just curious to know if there’s any sort of penalty for this.
Thanks.
Michelle answers:
You said it in your question. “Accidentally aired.” It was unintentional. Some one probably got scolded or maybe fired but that’s all.
Susan asks…
Is it right for the Obama Admin. to exclude Fox News from their press conferneces?
I can understand why they would do it considering all they do is oppose instead of report. What do you think? Do you even consider Fox News Channel a news station? If Fox News Channel was the only source of news for someone, would you considered them well informed?
Fox News does not report news. Everything they say is an opinion on the news. Its more of an editorial station. The word News does not belong in the title. Its like saying that Rush Limbough is a news reporter.
Michelle answers:
Yes it is fine, because it’s Obama. If Bush did that it would not be okay though. Who cares if they exclude Fox, because their cameras lie, and make Obama say things that he doesn’t really say. Even though all of the other networks are showing the same shots, the Fox cameras lie. It is also okay for all of the other networks to have their opinions, but Fox News can’t because they don’t say that Obama is the savior of the world. Stupid Fox News!
Charles asks…
Has Fox News always been an ultra extreme right wing network or did they transform into one over time?
I have watched Keith Olberman transform into an ultra left wing host before my very eyes which is why I do not watch his show anymore.
When did Fox News become the wingman/lady for the GOP?
Michelle answers:
FOX News was FOUNDED as an anti-Clinton network in 1994. Every prospective employee was vetted for conservatism by Roger Ailes, the man Murdoch put in charge of staffing his fledgling propaganda machine, and anyone to the left of Pat Buchanan was given the ax.
Olbermann is not left-wing. If anything, he’s restrained. Government has gone INSANE, and nobody’s been reporting anything.
Steven asks…
Do people trumpeting Fox News’ ratings understand why that data reflects badly on conservatives?
Liberals watch CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News to get their information.
Conservatives watch Fox News to get their information.
Who’s getting a more complete picture of the world?
Michelle answers:
Good point, though you leave out the 70% of Americans who are moderate, and have better things to do than watch Cable News. But the moderates will watch all 3, die hard conservatives only watch Fox News. You can tell by some of there instant polls, it’s 8 or 9 to 1 in favor of the ultra-conservative viewpoint. Moderates and liberals for the most part, wouldn’t waste their time and effort to do one of those ridiculous unscientific polls on Fox.
