Your Questions About Fox 23

Charles asks…

Why does Israel spy on America so much, and more importantly why do American citizens spy for Israel?

I’ve always thought it would be Russia or China that did the majority of the spying on America, but it actually turns out to be Israel that’s the chief culprit. (Fox news story 23 October 2010) Does anyone have a theory why this is the case and why would American subjects spy for a foreign country?

Michelle answers:

The USA and Israel spy on one another (and on other states). All states do.

I think it is important to ask what they are spying on?

I do think spying is a crime. I also think Israel gets an unfair rap.

One Israeli citizen with a low level clearance “spied on the US” and gave Israel info on Arab troop movements (which by treaty the US promised to share and then reneged upon). It was a crime. It was wrong. But, he has been accused of sharing US military secrets on US weapons and soviet agents when it did not happen.

A second “incident” involved a US diplomat who came forward and told some Jewish lobbyists that he had inside information on an imminent Arab terrorist attack on Israeli civilians. They told Israel and this violated the laws sharing confidential information. I don’t think that should be a crime at all.

Peace.

Joseph asks…

Why is Fox News Talking A Lot About Virginia and New Jersey But Are Suddenly Silent About New York’s’ 23rd?

They have been talking endlessly about the republicans winning in virginia and new jersey but the house race that they talked about for weeks is suddenly off the radar. Why?
Well I don’t watch MsNBC, so I will have to take your word on it, even thought mentioning it is totally irrelevant.

Michelle answers:

Coverage seems normal to me. A govenors race is a bigger deal then one House district.

James asks…

Why did Fox News say that according to a recent Gallop Poll…?

61% of people FAVOR taking away collective bargaining, when in fact the Gallop Poll said that 61% OPPOSE taking away collective bargaining? How’s that fairy balanacy thingy working out for ya?

Michelle answers:

Yes, and two minutes later, they corrected it and said that they had reversed it. Did you miss that part or just leave it out to prove your biased opinion? When Rachel Maddow made a major mistake, it was the left that complained that people didn’t mention her apology. Double standard?

Ken asks…

Was Mr. Fox correct to infer that Afghanistan is a broken 13th-century country?
