How do I sync Firefox for PC and Chrome for mobile?
I use Firefox on my laptop but both my iPod Touch and my Android phone have Google Chrome. I want to know if it’s possible to have what I do in Firefox on my laptop sync with my phone and iPod. Like if I have tabs open on my laptop, and I go on my phone, the same tabs will be open. Or if that’s not possible, at least it would be great if I could sync bookmarks or internet history.
Michelle answers:
You could get this addon/app called pocket. You save webpages in your “pocket” and then you can access them on any other device. Also, there is Firefox for Android, and it syncs your tabs.

How to get Mozilla Firefox bookmarks again after formatting?
I installed Mozilla Firefox in F drive. Due to virus problem I formatted my C drive. Then i can’t find Mozilla firefox. So I installed Mozilla again. After that i can’t find my Bookmarks in the newly installed one. Now how to get my bookmarks again? Still am having that Mozilla in program files in F drive.
Michelle answers:
I suspect that unless your user profile was stored somewhere other than C drive you’ve lost your bookmarks. Bookmarks are usually stored somewhere like this
C:Documents and SettingsvinoApplication DataMozillaFirefoxProfilesudb4phl2.default
My suggestion is once you’ve got firefox working, that you install a firefox add on called Xmarks. It uploads your bookmarks onto a secure server and then you will always be able to recover your bookmarks; if you ever have another problem and it has the bonus that if you have more that one computer it will synchronise your bookmarks on both computers.
It works with Chrome and Internet Explorer too.

How to enable cookies on firefox 3 for mac?
Okay, so I already searched for HOURS to find out how to do it. I’ve gone to firefox>preferences>Privacy>Enable cookies.
I’ve added it as a site, and I’ve tried every option that I know of. Please send me an email, or leave a comment that will help me. Pleeaasseee.
Michelle answers:
Maybe this isn’t really a problem with Firefox itself. Maybe it’s a problem with the particular site. You say “I’ve added it as a site”, so it sounds like it is just one site that is wacky. Also, adding a site is a backward approach. You add sites to EXCLUDE FROM, not to INCLUDE IN the cookies acceptance process. Tell us what site or try Safari. Does the site give a cookie message when you load it in Safari? If not, it could be caused by some add-on to Firefox. For example, NoScript can block a scripted frame that comes from a different sight. Disable NoScript and try again. You might also try installing “User Agent Switcher”, link below, and set its preferences to “Internet Explorer 7 (Windows Vista)”, although typically, if the site is designed to exclude Firefox, it gives a message about “You must use Internet Explorer”.

Firefox 3, How do I stop smart bar from bringing up bookmarks while I type a url?
I have my favorite adult oriented websites bookmarked. Is there a way to disable the smart address bar in FireFox 3 from bringing up my bookmarks while I type? If not, can you suggest an alternative?
