How can I unplug embedded vids now using firefox?
I hve updated firefox to 3.0.5 version and shocked to find out that the add on unplug in missing. I tried to install that but it is uncompatible with 3.0.5.

Uninstall firefox, then reinstall the previous version and the plug in. You’ll need admin rights on the PC.

How can I control when updates from Firefox are done?
I want to keep running the version of Firefox that I have and Firefox keeps on updating my version to another one automatically. None of the other versions work well on my computer. What do I do to stop this from happening? I did this once before but I can’t remember where to find the option to stop automatic updates. Thanks

Tools options but give up on firefox it has too many problems in the latest editions try orca, k-meleon or flock all mozilla browsers like firefox but faster and without the problems, firefox help and mozillazine both deny there are any problems but there are hundreds of reported problems with firefox all over the internet. Check your task manager firefox sometimes opens multiple times and freezes the computer without opening any windows something mozillazine “experts” say is impossible

How do I get rid of the firefox theme or layout that I installed?
I installed the nasa theme on my firefox browser and i want it back to its original theme,the one it came with thats plain white.So how do i change my firefox theme in to its original form?

On the top menu, click “Tools” then go to “Add-Ons”. Then a window will pop-up. Select “Themes” and then choose the one that you would like. Then “Select Theme” and Firefox will restart and your new theme will be there.

How come my sound is not working with mozilla firefox anymore?
I have been using firefox for a while now and it has been working great, but now no sound will play when im using firefox. If i use internet explorer, it works, or if i just play files on my computer, it works also.

Firefox and IE are not the same things. Some videos could work well to one, but not to the other. You may are able to hear sounds to one and not to the other. Crazy computer stuff…
So…update two things: adobe flash player and java. Find their latest drivers and drop them onto your system. See if any difference. Plan b: clean your browser from everything: cookies, temporary internet files, web history, everything. Reboot and try again. If nothing’ s better, let’ s try plan c (yeah…i have 5 more, you know…hehehe): uninstall firefox for good. From Control Panel and from the Program Files. Reboot, open your Internet and get a fresh copy from the Mozilla website. Install it to your computer and try again. Someone of the above, must work.
