How do I make new tabs blank instead of showing my history on firefox?
Everytime I open a new tab on firefox it displays my history. How can I change this so it just looks like a blank tab that shows nothing?
Michelle answers:
By default a new tab in firefox should be blank. If it is coming up with content such as favorites or history this would be a plugin or something you’ve installed such as a tool bar.
I have Google Toolbar installed on my PC and my new tabs show my most visited pages.

What can i do to stop firefox from remembering everything i type automatically ?
What can i do to stop firefox from remembering everything i type automatically ?
I asked this before and someone told me to
“Turn off auto-complete in Windows itself.” but i don’t know how to do that :/
Michelle answers:
Pull up your Firefox browser and go to “Tools” in the menu. You will want to pick “Start Private browsing” in the menu. Select “Start Private browsing” when the prompt comes up. This will stop Firefox from remembering anything you type in the browser’s history and will stay this way until you turn it off. I use the Flock version of Mozilla browser which is more aptly suited to social networking and a lot less complicated than Firefox (check my article on it in the resource box for my answers). Hope this helps.
