Why is the Hourly and Extended Forecast text missing and the buttons insensitive in Firefox?
I’m running Yahoo in Firefox. When I go to the Weather page both the Hourly and the Extended Forecast text is absent. The arrows are present but insensitive.
Michelle answers:
For me it works in Internet Explorer (9), doesn’t work in Firefox (11 or 12).
When I look at the page source in Firefox, the weather forecast is there. The page just failed to display it. It’s probably behind main image instead of in front.
So it looks like they improved the page – and it is nicer – but broke browser compatibility.

How and is it possible to downgrade Firefox without losing my details?
I have downloaded Firefox 2.0.0.3 and it seems to use a lot more RAM then 2.0.0.2 so I can I downgrade to 2.0.0.2?
And how?
Michelle answers:
Uninstall Firefox (choose all the settings so that it doesnt lose any user set information). Then download Firefox 2.0.0.2 and install it. It should pick up the settings automatically.

Chris asks…
How do I get my Firefox downloader to work?
Every time I download something to the Firefox downloader I get it done alright but I can’t open the file. It just stays there on the downloader. I try to look for these downloads in the start menu under “search” in order to find it to open it there. It’s not listed there at all. If you have a suggestion please spell it out clearly because I’m new at this kind of thing. Thanks.
Michelle answers:
Welcome to Firefox! I’m sure you’ll get used to it quickly. If you need any clarification on anything or have any questions, I’m happy to help. ^^
The easiest way to find the file is to open up the downloader (hotkey: CTRL + J) and find the file. Right click the file. A menu will pop up that includes an option for ‘Open Containing Folder’
Clicking that will take you to where you saved it.
I’m assuming that your Firefox does not pop-up a window asking you where to download a file, correct?
If you would like to change that, go to the options menu. (It’s under the Tools heading.) There will be a section on the main screen for Downloads. The default setting for Firefox is ‘save files to…’
If you want to sometimes have it save other places, change that to ‘ask me every time.’
I hope I’ve helped! 🙂
