Why does Mozilla Firefox keep logging me out of my Facebook i check “remember password?
I have the newest Firefox. Whenever I delete my history on it, it logs me out of my Facebook and other websites even though I have checked the “remember password” box.
Michelle answers:
You do have to use your password when logging in, to facebook. But when you delete temporary cookies, in your cache, some of those cookies are passwords. That’s why I don’t often clean out mine, with out writing down my passwords, as I create them. I’ve checked the rembember me/keep me logged in box, too. It doesn’t work. But maybe firefox has a problem with facebook.

How will google treat firefox now that it developped another browser?
Google was one of the Firefox supporters in the war against Microsoft Internet Explorer.
What do you think will happen now to Firefox?
Michelle answers:
My guess, it that they will still work with Firefox, just so that Google can get the maximum exposure. Google wants open source to win the software war, so it is likely that they will help Firefox, and continue to fund them. Though I look for firefox market share and internet explorer market share to drop rapidly. I personally think the Microsoft should abandon internet explorer. I also think that this will kill off Opera.

How to transfer firefox bookmarks with tags?
I purchased a new computer and am looking to transfer firefox bookmarks over to the new computer. I have a very extensive collection of bookmarks that includes many tags. It is essential that the tags come with. In my case, export->html will not work because it does not preserve the tags. Any ideas? Thank you!
p.s. I’m under the impression that the .json file has the tags in it, but I’m not sure how to use this file in the transfer, so specific instructions will be greatly appreciated.
Michelle answers:
Use Xmarks and sync
http://www.xmarks.com/
Or install the new Firefox 4 and use firefox sync
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/mobile/sync/
[It says its for mobile, but it syncs between browsers also. Xmarks sync between every browser. So i advice Xmarks instead
