Charles asks…
what is a fedex kinko?
Hi, i wanna know how is a fedex kinko different from a fedex staffed?
Michelle answers:
FedEx bought out Kinkos copying centers. FedEx Kinkos is now FedEx Office and is an online printing service.
A staffed FedEx is an actual storefront that you have to go to to make printed copies.
FedEx Kinkos is now FedEx Office: http://www.fedex.com/us/office/
Sandy asks…
Do you prefer UPS or FedEx?
I haven’t had to send very much by either so wouldn’t know how to judge them on that. However, in my past experiences, it seems that receiving mail by UPS is more efficient than FedEx. The projected dealines are more accurate with UPS, I think. Also they seem to move more quickly than FedEx.
Michelle answers:
I have used Fedex and UPS for years. I have always found Fedex more reliable.
Also Fedex Ground is cheaper than UPS ground.
Fedex updates their tracking info more often
I have over 15 years never lost a Fedex Package.. I ship more than 10 packages a month! I have had numerous delays with UPS, especially with overnight. Refund was hard to get with UPS.
Besides Fedex has dropoffs all over and are open late night at the airport.
Ken asks…
Fedex shipping from HONOLULU, HI?
So i ordered a fedex package it shipped from HONOLULU, HI im in cali and it says in transit in MEMPHIS, TN why would they ship it there and not just to california where i am
Michelle answers:
FedEx needs to sort things at large centralized hubs. It’s likely cheaper for FedEx to fly everything from Hawaii to Memphis and then do short flights from there. It would be a lot more complex and expensive to have multiple planes leaving Hawaii for all sorts of cities throughout the U.S. And even the world. They can put everything from Hawaii into just one or two large planes and sort it out on the mainland. What you’re seeing is perfectly normal for FedEx to do.
Susan asks…

Michelle answers:
