How much does it cost to advertise on facebook?
What does CPM & CPC mean? Can anyone who has advertised on facebook describe how much it cost you overall? Also, is there anyone who can mention if facebook advertising (and the specific type of facebook ad – social ad/etc, age group) was positive or negative for them in their ventures? I’d really appreciate any responses to this, thanks.

Setting up an ad account and advertising on Facebook is easy. You can do a CPC or CPM campaign and the minimum for both is $5. Like Google Adwords, you set your own budget.
You can also set who your target is with Facebook whether you want those who are college grads, which you can further target by major or by colleges attended; or college students or high school

A friend invited me to join, I joined now that friend only communicates via facebook, we used to text and email, and phone each other.

Facebook and myspace are social networking sites meant to bring people together who do not know each other personally but have same interests or affiliations (i.e. Went to same high school/college)
unfortunately sometimes these sites take the place of actual physical contact with folks you do know in person. This is one of the fall backs of the internet in general.
