I am wondering how Forever 21 & H&M do store credit. I think I have returned items there before but how would I be able to tell if I have any store credit. Thank you!

Store credit is basically a gift card they give you in a form of return payment. They have a policy where you can only return an item within 21 days of the purchase and you only receive store credit if you return it. So whenever you return an item at Forever 21, they give you a gift card with the amount of money that should be returned to you instead of the money back on your credit card or in the form of cash. Then, you can use the store credit at Forever 21 for your next purchase there.

What’s the difference between Forever 21 and H&M?

I’ve heard H&M has better quality but their styles are not as good as Forever 21. Which would you prefer to shop to? Which one is better?

Neither has really good quality, but H&M is a little better. So, obviously its a little more expensive.

But I think style wise, H&M is much more sophisticated and chic. Forever 21 sometimes has good stuff, but H&M is more fashion-y. I also think Forever 21 is more for younger girls. I much rather prefer H&M.

How do I copy Firefox bookmarks between users on the same computer?

I created a new user, opened Firefox, and there are only the default bookmarks. There is an “import” function, but it only offers to import Internet Explorer bookmarks. Is there any way to copy/import between users on the same machine?

If you have Windows XP:
On the old user.
1 – Start–> Run
2 – Type Application Data and click OK.
Copy Mozilla folder.

On the new user
1 – do step 1
2 – delete Mozilla folder and paste the Mozilla from the Old user.

If you are using windows vista
Type AppData instead of Application Data and go to Roaming folder

How can I make firefox to prompt me for what to do with a file instead of automatically downloading?

Right now firefox automatically downloads an mp3 and opens it. I want it to prompt me with the dialog box so I can choose where to save it. I’ve looked in options->downloads->view and edit actions and there is nothing set there that I can change.

Content > Manage button.

Options –> Security.

Un-tick the first 3 and try again. I highly recommend ticking them again once it’s installed though.

Is it possible to access MetroPCS account using my Facebook login?

I received an email regarding my daughters line on Metropcs. It says:

“It looks like someone used your Facebook account to log into MetroPCS”
I’ve been trying to search but cannot how it is possible for her to do this. It IS different from the device login notifications I receive. I need to find out how this is possible to prevent her from having future access to the account or even her own line on the account.

I Doubt its Possible To Do it Change your password and it Should Lock the account out automatically if it is connected to Metro PCS than you have to disconnect it from facebook check on metro pcs and see if there is any settings or anything to do with facebook on there if there is disconnect it from there hope i helped

I would guess you’re using Internet Explorer. I would recommend using Firefox. Download from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

I logged into facebook with an email address and chose yes when Internet Explorer asked me if I wanted to save this address and password. Now I don’t want that address saved in the list anymore but I don’t want to wipe out every other email and password that’s saved on facebook or everywhere else online. How do I get rid of just the one address? Is it possible?

Why does Firefox not work since I downloaded yahoo instant messenger?

I have had Firefox, IE, and Google chrome downloaded onto my computer for a while now with no problem. Recently I downloaded YIM and now Firefox doesn’t start up. If I restart my computer a few times, and try to open it a few dozen times each time I restart, it will eventually pop up. How do I fix it? Chrome and IE still work fine but I prefer Firefox.

That’s because IE is Yahoo’s preferred browser and it’s also where Yahoo AND Messenger work best, with IE.

You’re going to have to choose between Yahoo and FF or get the FF updates FOR Yahoo, which is probably the better choice of the two.

Out of my experience: FlashGot, as well as – not surprisingly – all the extensions which, by their nature, require connecting to some server (weather forecasts and the like).

But since there’s thousands of add-ons, and thus chances are that I don’t use the same ones as you do: the best thing you can do is just to disable them one by one (go to Tools / Add-ons), then measure how long it takes for Firefox to boot up each time. This will allow you to single out the worst “offenders”.

Also clear up the cache and browser history, perhaps try decreasing the cache size, use some tool for optimizing Firefox databases (Speedyfox for example), there’s many ways to speed Firefox up.

Good news is that the upcoming versions of Firefox are supposed to be improved in the areas of speed and responsiveness (the raising popularity of fast and snappy Google Chrome forced them to focus on it)

There was a show on food network called “christmas in America”. It was hosted by Rachel Ray and it had a receipe for a bloody mary in it. Anyone have it?

Original Bloody Mary Rachel Ray
2 ounces vodka
4 ounces tomato juice
Lemon juice
Cayenne pepper
Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper
Celery stick, for garnish In a highball glass, stir together the vodka and tomato juice. Stir in the lemon juice, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, salt and black pepper to taste. Add a few ice cubes and a celery stick.

Here is her Jamaican Me Crazy Bloody Mary

Make the Original Bloody Mary recipe, replacing the vodka with rum and reducing the tomato juice to 3 ounces. Add 1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice, 2 teaspoons coconut cream, 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce (found in the Asian foods aisle), 2 teaspoons simple syrup (equal parts sugar dissolved in water), and grated horseradish and celery salt to taste. Garnish with pineapple wedges dipped in shredded coconut.

I LOVE Food Network. Rachael is good. I really like Alton Brown on “Good Eats”. He is fun to watch and informative. It is much nicer than just watching someone cook, like most shows. His “Feasting on Asphalt” show was only okay. Emeril is good. I hate Bobby Flay. He seems really arrogant. I saw a commercial that Nigella Lawson is going to have a new show. I really liked her old show called Nigella Bites.

What is the best date to file your FAFSA if you want to maximize the amount of Federal Assistance you’re given?

I received my W-2’s and immediately filed my FAFSA that morning. Considering that they’d been accepting FAFSA applications for the Fall semester since the 1st of January, was the 31st too late to maximize my potential federal assistance?
My taxes were done before my FAFSA.

Michelle answers:

There is only one critical date for financial aid eligibility, and that is the “priority aid deadline” at your school.

Schools do not process aid applications as they arrive – schools process aid applications beginning immediately after their own “priority aid deadline” has passed. If your school’s deadline is March 15th, they will begin processing aid on or about March 16th.

There is NO benefit to getting your aid application in first – when the school begins processing aid, they evaluate all of the applicants on the basis of financial need. Funds like Pell Grants and Stafford loans are not limited – the school can award those to everyone who qualifies. Other forms of aid are awarded from a limited pool of funds, but the school first determines how many of their applicants qualify for those forms of aid, and then allocates that aid to as many students as they possibly can.

The only aid applicants who risk getting shut out, or receiving reduced aid packages, are those students who do not meet their school’s priority aid deadline – otherwise, financial aid application is not a race.

I hope that doesn’t disappoint you.

How do I use my fafsa money to pay rent?

I dormed my freshmen year and had all the financial processes taken care of by the school and government. But I’f I want to rent a house with my friends for next school year, how would I use my fafsa money for that? Don’t we have to pay rent monthly? Sorry I’m not experienced with real estate and renting at all.

The hardest part is going to find a landlord willing to rent a house to a bunch of kids with no income… Honestly. To use your aid to pay for rent you have to keep in mind many things. First, you have to have ENOUGH aid to cover all your tuition and fees and books and such in order to get a refund… THEN you must understand that the school will HOLD these funds and not send you the excess until FOUR WEEKS OR MORE after classes have started… (so you will have to have to get a job and have money saved if your rent is due before then. Also keep in mind you will have to pay for a deposit (due before you move it) AND utilitity deposits (due before you move in).

Yes, rent is due on the first of every money and you will only get a financial aid refund check ONCE a semester (in Sept and again in Feb). Most schools put your refund on a check card and you can get cash out like an ATM machine that is located on campus. It is usually difficult for young folks to BUDGET their money to last to pay rent the entire semester.

IN other words, they may get a 1,000 refund check in Sept and be able to pay the 400 rent in Oct, but won’t have any left over for rent in Nov, Dec and Jan. Won’t get another refund until Feb and you might go hungry for those months. Also keep in mind, you will need to sign a lease agreement with your friends and that means you can’t just NOT pay during the months you aren’t in school (yes, you still have to pay rent in Dec when you are out on christmas break) and you will also still need to pay in June and July when you are gone on summer break.

Will shifting student’s savings and assets to parent’s savings and assets help reduce EFC?

You have to and must put down everything into the FAFSA and the amount for everything must be the truth and exactly the right amount. If the government, IRS .. Those people that find out that you cheated, it would be a big trouble.

The only way for the EFC to go down – it would be one of your parents quit their job and not working. Even if your parents are divorce, I think you would have to still report the other parent.

Often times, when you work at a clothing retailer, they ask you to wear their clothing. So the girls at Forever 21 are probably wearing clothes from the store.

I’m sure if you asked one of the girls, she’d be flattered and more than willing to help you revamp your wardrobe.

That’s why all the other news networks have pathetic ratings compared to Fox. MSNBC, CNN, & BBC, attract the small percentage of far left wing radicals who don’t care about facts. They are like Sarah (who has answered your question) who think it is a good idea for the government to tell us how we should eat by taxing certain foods that the government decides are unhealthy. Obama’s job approval ratings continue to drop, and so are the ratings of the left wing news networks. The numbers don’t lie people. There is a reason people watch Fox and not the other networks. Quite a simple concept actually, but the far left wingers will continue to fight for their cause. Notice that no one that has answered your question from the left except Sarah has any argument, just an ignorant comment.
