Your Questions About Forever 21

Nancy asks…

What comes after the status packed in forever 21 proccess?

In the status of my forever 21 order is says packed.
what comes after that.
ONLY PEOPLE WITH PASSED EXPERIENCES.
AND DON’T SPAM BECAUSE I WILL REPORT YOU.

Michelle answers:

Let’s see.. I just ordered from forever21, just a couple days ago and it says.. New. Heh. So maybe they go from new to packed to shipping to shipped. And packed means they got it all packed up and ready to be shipped? Haha, that would be my guess.

Joseph asks…

Does anyone knows if Forever 21 plus sized skinny jeans are true to size or any good?

I needs some skinny jeans and Forever 21 has some really cute, cheap skinny jeans. I wanted to but a few but I wear a size twenty and wanted to know are they true to size or what are the quality.

Michelle answers:

Call Customer Service 1-800#, or email them.
This is YAHOO, it’s a World Wide Web and many of us have not even bought anything or work @ Forever 21.

Sometimes, you may end up paying a bit more just to buy that perfect jean or pant size. You may even try on 100 pair of jeans or pants in different styles & brand, just to find that perfect fit.

Best answer is to try them on in front of a full length mirror.

I also suggest when paying for online purchases, don’t use Paypal, it takes just once to be a victim. I was and it took 3 years to get my credit. Use your Credit Card, always, they can help you if any disputes.
AND beware of international shipping, they could add 3-25% extra fees, even if the price is cheap.
My merchant was from Texas, but the product was shipped from Hong Kong.
Other times, when you need to call Customer Service, they speak in foreign tongue and no one to translate them or JUST they don’t answer calls.

Robert asks…

How can I get Forever 21 clothes ship to Mexico?

I’d like to buy online on Forever 21, but I am currently living in Mexico and they do not ship to here, I’d like to know if there any other way I could get it ship to here, I heard about a company that gives you an american address then they ship it to where ever you are, but I’m not sure.. Can someone please tell me what I could do.. Thanks!

Michelle answers:

I can ship them to you or ask a friend or relative to buy then ship them to you.

But I need advance, your name, address, check or money order, SSS#, Credit Card # and your phone # so I can get back to you if I have any questions.

Maria asks…

How do you convince your mom to let you shop at Forever 21?

Well my mom only likes me shopping at Justice and I’m going into 7th grade. I can occasionally go to Abercrombie and Fitch, but that’s about it. Anyone have some ideas to convince her to let me shop at Forever 21???

Michelle answers:

Take her in there and show her things that dont make you look too mature but not like a little girl and go try them on ans maybe yall can compromise on what you can get from there good luck!

Your Questions About Fafsa

Helen asks…

priority date to fill my fafsa was 1st march. Can i make corrections to my fafsa now?

Priority deadline for submitting my fafsa to my college was 1st march and i submitted it before that. But now i realised that i made a mistake in one of the questions. Can i make corrections to my fafsa or is it late?

Michelle answers:

Yes, you can ALWAYS still make corrections. The deadline date refers to the original filing. Once it is filed, you can make corrections to the info–meeting the deadline is based on the original application receipt date, not the date that any prior corrections were made.

If you are not quite sure what needs to be corrected, take your SAR into your school’s Financial Aid Office to speak with a Financial Aid Counselor that can help you determined what corrections need to be made.

Laura asks…

How do they determine on FAFSA how much you will get for financial aid?

Is it based on how much the school tution, your age, your income, and the school? I don’t live with my parents, I am in my late 20s possibly thinking about attending school. I know what FAFSA is, but I just want to know how do they determine how much they will approve for financial aid. Thanks!!

Michelle answers:

The FAFSA form goes by your last year’s tax return information since you are in your late 20s. For example if you were applying for the Spring 2008 semester, it would go by your 2006 income tax return. It takes into consideration your marital status, your household size, and number of dependents you have. Your contribution would be counted at a percentage of both your income and savings. You could receive the Pell Grant (income dependent), work study program, need based college scholarships from their endowment fund, and student loans. There is a FAFSA worksheet which costs money which can be utilized to show your entire situation which could bring more money. I will include some free resources below which should help. Good luck!

Mark asks…

How long does an online FAFSA take to register?

I submitted a FAFSA application online because i was running out of time for the missouri deadline, and i will definitely need federal help paying for art school. Anyway, i was just wondering how it took to process, I had assumed it was basically instant, or at least the same day, but you cant even check its status for a week so I’m getting nervous.

Michelle answers:

They usually respond within a couple of days telling you what your EFC (expected family contribution) is. Then it usually takes a couple of months to find out exactly what you’re going to receive. I submitted mine in March and won’t find out how much I’ll get until May. But if you have a low EFC then you’re most likely going to get a lot of aid. Mine was zero last year and I got $9500 in aid! Good Luck.

Ruth asks…

What happens if I select an inaccurate living arrangement on the FAFSA?

When I filled out the fafsa, I answered that I’d be living off campus (not with my parents) but I think I’ll still be living at home once school starts. What kind of complications might this cause?

Michelle answers:

You can live at home and this won’t cause a problem since your award amount is based on your income. Make sure you know what address that you gave FAFFS and your school. They should be the same address and they will mail you financial aid information to that address.

Basically, if you’ve already been awarded grant money, you should have no problem receiving the full amount but make sure that your correct address is listed with both your school and FAFSA.

Students constantly move and change their address so your case isn’t unusual. If you have a new address then make sure you fill out the “change of address form.”

George asks…

Can you change your login email on Facebook from the one you signed up with?

I’m getting a new email address and my old one (that I used for facebook) is shutting down. Does this affect my facebook if my login email will no longer be useable?

Michelle answers:

Yes you could. Just go to the account tab on the top right. Click on account settings, on the first setting page, 3rd row, you’ll see ‘Email’ and you click change. Insert you new contact email and add it 🙂

Mary asks…

How do I change my Facebook login email?

It keeps saying, ‘For security reasons you must enter your password’ or something, and it doesn’t have anywhere for me to put it 0.o is this a bug?

Michelle answers:

Are you SURE you’re on http://www.facebook.com ? It sounds like you’re on a scam site that wants your password (I’m not sure if this exists for Facebook, I know it does for Myspace.)

Just try waiting a couple of hours, sometimes FB has bugs, they work them out fairly quickly.

Jenny asks…

If I changed my yahoo password and I use it to login to facebook then do I need to change my facebook ?

Someone had accessed my yahoo contacts and has sent unsolicited emails so I changed my yahoo password. I use my yahoo password to login to facebook. So do I need to change my facebook password also ?

Michelle answers:

If the 2 sites Yahoo/Facebook had the same password
then you changed the Yahoo one
You would have to change the Facebook one also,as it
will be the same as before.

Your Questions About Fox News

James asks…

Why does Fox News have so much more diversity than the other TV news stations?

Fox News has the most blacks, the most women, and the most political diversity by far of all the TV news stations. Is Fox‘ diversity what accounts for them always winning the ratings and all the most ‘fair and balanced’ surveys?
MSNBC = The Obama Network.

So they have one liberal Republican on in the morning when no one is watching.

Michelle answers:

Remember, everything liberals say, in reality, is opposite.

And who cares what libs say? Reality is, Fox has the MOST viewers and beats both cnn and msnbc even with combined viewers. The majority of Americans know the truth.

@Darla: Yes, if you watched actually watched Fox, you;d know Geraldo is a liberal, and also the Alan guy that comes on Oreilly every now and then. Before then, he was a co-anchor with Hannity. See sweetheart, watching something other than cnn and msnbc opens your mind to the world.

EDIT: Exactly. In the morning when he has less of a chance to open up the dim-witted minds of liberals. In the evening, they have the lunatics like Maddcow and Mr.Tingles. Oh, and when he is on, there are like 10 libs bashig him.

Lizzie asks…

Why does FOX news constantly bash the mainstream media?

They are as mainstream as it gets. You can walk into many places, and if that place happens to have a TV and there is news on it, it’s most likely FOX. They’re literally everywhere. So, I ask you, what makes FOX less mainstream than any other news channel? It’s a corporately owned news channel that gets tons of viewers. How is it independent?

This is like the Tea Partiers calling themselves rebels when they defend the for profit system.
Terran: So hypocrisy is just fine when some rich person is making a profit off of it?
Terran: Capitalism is what turned the Middle East into a hellhole. Considering all of the wars and the fascist state of Israel that were created for profits.

If all of us uncritically waved our flags and chanted “God bless America,” the establishment would be free to do as it chooses without the people “interfering.”
There needs to be criticism of the countries previous and present conduct.
I meant to write “country’s conduct” in the additional details above. “Countries” was a typo.

Michelle answers:

OMG!!!!! A company is bashing it’s competition?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! WOW!!! I’ve never heard of something like that happening before. How dare a company rip on its economic competition!

Edit: Business is Business. Companies rip on each other all day, every day. Might as well get use to it, because it will never stop.
Here is a question for you. Why are you only accusing Fox News of this? I’ve lost count of the number of times CNN and MSNBC have ripped on FOX. If you can’t handle Capitalism and free markets, then I suggest you return to your home in the hell hole known as the Middle East.

Edit #2: You are wrong. Capitalism didn’t turn the Middle East into a hell hole (although I’m glad that you finally acknowledge that your home is the world’s asshole) Islam is what turned it into the world’s shittiest region. I also love how you view Israel as being fascist when it is a democracy; I don’t see you commenting on how almost every Islamic country are dictatorships run by blood thirsty, sexist, homophobic, racist bastards hell bent on killing anyone who isn’t Muslim. If all the Muslims in the Middle East were blown off the planet, then Humanity would actually have a chance at world peace. Sadly, you people are so backwards that you actually manage to hold back the progress of all mankind.

Islam – Making a true difference in the world, one body at a time.

Daniel asks…

If Fox news had canned laughter would people take it seriously?

Note this can be applied to any news, but the pundits on Fox news can’t be taken seriously no matter how much they scream and mug. This is why I ask against Fox in this case.

Michelle answers:

We tend to take things seriously that agree with what we say. People don’t watch pundits to be informed, but to be told that what they believe is true. A society where pundits get more views than the news reveals that the people have largely given up on being informed and simply want someone more articulate than them to second their views and help develop them further.

No one ever lost support by telling their followers what they wanted to hear.

Robert asks…

Does Yahoo Answers Politics have an agreement with Fox News to perform its moderation?

There seems to be a striking resemblance between how Yahoo Answers politics sections performs their moderation and how Fox News performs its moderation on its website. That is, right-wingers can post the most extreme libellous statements they want and they will remain, yet anything opposing the right-wing is strictly moderated and censored if it is too factual. Appealing the decisions is pointless: you will get a form email saying “On review of your case we have decided not to reinstate your content” with no adequate explanation. Is anybody here aware of such an agreement between the two media giants? Please reply quickly, before they delete my question. Thanks.

Michelle answers:

Yahoo Answers is NOT moderated! If it were, some of the loons that just try to stir things up would not be on here. . . .

All it takes is three people to report your answer and it it automatically taken down. I don’t think a real person at Yahoo is involved.

Your Questions About Fedex

Lisa asks…

How many people see the arrow in the Fedex logo?

Just wondering how many people noticed the arrow in the Fedex logo.
It’s between the E and X.

Michelle answers:

Noticed it years ago. I thought it was meant to be noticed.

Carol asks…

How long does fedex overnight shipping take?

I ordered a nexus one on march 30th at 11 am. It says that it is fedex overnight shipping, do any of you happen to know what time and day it would come

Michelle answers:

It will come sometime on march 31th. The time depends on where you sent it too, and where they shipped it from
if you have a tracking number you can literally track it at every stop

John asks…

Will FedEx leave a FedEx Ground package at my door if no one is home or do they require a signature?

I have a package on the way but it won’t arrive until Thursday while my wife and I are at work. Will they leave the package on my porch or do you have to sign for it? Its being shipped via FedEx Ground.

Michelle answers:

It depends on how it was sent out. Probably not, but depending on the article, the sender may have required it. You should have gotten a tracking number already. Call FedEx with your tracking number and ask them specifically about your package. When in doubt, I always leave a note (I live in an area where I don’t worry about such things).

Donald asks…

Do fedex ground packages sometimes arrive sooner than the scheduled arrival date?

I am expecting a package to be delivered by fedex ground. It is coming from CA to MA. The company from which I ordered the pkg only charged me $10.15 for shipping. I ordered the pkg on 12/17 and the fedex website says the scheduled day of arrival is 12/27. I am wondering if there is any chance that the pkg may arrive sooner, hopefully by xmas.

Michelle answers:

No jackie, we are not USPS, where it just arrives when it arrives, With fdx xp we do stick to our schedule but fdx ground is literally ground they go across the country in those semi trucks and stop by every major city on their way. We both, ground and express have a rule that we will give you your money if not delivered by due time, but it is cancelled/suspended during “peak” for about two weeks, sorry. So the answer is no, 5% chance you will get by then. But we heavy loads of packages, millions a day! For future reference ship or order an item 10 business days in advance!

Your Questions About Food Network

Lisa asks…

Food network: box cake mix to taste homemade. ” The secret life of cake” episode a few years ago.

The food network hosted a show, ” The secret life of cake” They said how to make a box cake taste like it was homemade. It used eggs, butter, & a 3rd ingrediant that I don’t remember. I want to say OIL. You are sopposed to use these instead of the way the box says to do it. I know for sure the ingriant is NOT Pudding. It is not that kind of cake. I belive the mix was just plain yellow.

Michelle answers:

Maybe it was sour cream? I’m a cake decorator. All my cakes start with a box. I usually add 1 Cup of Flour, 1 Cup of Sugar, 1 Cup of Butter, 1 Cup Sour Cream, 3 eggs and 1/3 Cup water. The cakes always come out great. I know a lot of Cake Decorators and some bakery’s use this recipe. I know you said it had 3 ingredients. But maybe it had a little more. I hope I helped somewhat.

Ken asks…

Food Network vegetable pasta?

I watched the food network the other day and they had a recipe for roasted vegetables and bow-tie pasta. It looked really good but I don’t remember what spices they put on the vegetables. I looked all over there web-site but i can not find the recipe. Could anyone please give me suggestions on what to use.

Michelle answers:

Simply Roasted Pasta

Serves 2

Nothing could be simpler than “dry” roasting a bunch of asparagus in olive oil and sea salt, a few roma tomatoes and a head of garlic then mixing all these roasted vegetables with some cooked orecchini for a light and living Sunday Supper.
The “dry” roasting technique, which uses just a little olive oil and sea salt, concentrates the natural flavor of the vegetables.

For garlic addicts, puree the roasted garlic with a little hot chicken broth to coat the pasta and roasted vegetables. If you don’t want the all-round flavor of roasted garlic, then mash a few cloves of roasted garlic and toss them into the pasta as accents. You can also use the roasted cloves as a spread on bread and mix them into a salad dressing to accompany this pasta dish.

Roasting Asparagus (and other vegetables):
Wash bunch of asparagus and cut off the woody stem end. If you have time and want to create a luxurious dish, then you can peel the asparagus.

(If you are using other vegetables such as pencil-thin carrots, zucchini, green onions and bulb fennel also roast well, then cut them into roughly the same diameter as the asparagus.)

Preheat oven to 400 – 425°. Arrange the asparagus and other vegetables snuggly in one large (or 2 small) flat roasting pans (I prefer to use an oven-proof ceramic dish so the vegetables don’t stick and burn on the bottom.) Drizzle lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.

Roast the vegetables, turning often until they are cooked. This should take about 10 minutes, but some types of vegetables may take longer. When they are done, remove them from the oven and set aside until ready to use.

Roasting the Roma Tomatoes:
Preheat the oven to 450°. Line a flat baking sheet (with sides) with parchment paper or foil. Cut a very thin slice off the top of each tomato then cut it in half, lengthwise. Arrange the tomato halves on the baking sheet and roast them until the skins begin to shrivel and pull away (pop up) from the flesh.

Remove from the oven and pluck the skins off. Put the tomato flesh and cooking juices into a bowl, roughly chop (as necessary) and set aside until ready to use.

Roasting the Garlic:
Cut the very top end off the head of garlic, just enough to expose all of the cloves. Drizzle with olive oil. Wrap loosely in aluminum foil and roast in a 250 – 300° oven for about 30-40 minutes. The garlic is done when the cloves are as soft as mashed potatoes and a light golden brown. (Overcooking or cooking at too high a temperature will cause the garlic cloves caramelize and harden. Undercooking will leave them rasty and raw tasting. Garlic, when properly roasted, has a sweet and succulent flavor, nothing likes it aggressive raw character.)

When the garlic is done, remove from the oven and let it cool in the foil until ready to use. Using small fork or similar narrow tool (I found a fondue fork or crab fork is ideal for this job), remove the individual cloves from their skins. If you intend to use the cloves whole, then remove them carefully. If you will be pureeing them, then there is no need to be too careful.
Final Assembly:

Cook the orecchini, drain and return to the cooking pan.

Cut the roasted vegetables into bit size pieces and mix into the cooked pasta. Roughly cut up the tomatoes and add them to the pasta pan.

Puree (or mash) the roasted garlic with ¼ cup hot chicken broth and mix it into the pasta pan.Heat slowly, stirring continuously until it is thoroughly hot.

Serve in warm bouillabaisse bowls accompanied by a green salad dressed with a roasted garlic vinaigrette.

Roasted Garlic Vinaigrette: A vinaigrette made with roasted garlic has a surprisingly sweet flavor. It can be used as a dressing for salads, any steamed vegetables or plain asparagus served as a first course:

1. Mash 1-2 cloves of roasted garlic in a small bowl.
2. Gradually add 1 TBS balsamic vinegar.
3. After the vinegar and garlic have been blended thoroughly, gradually whisk in 3 TBS olive oil with a fork.
———–

Pasta & Roasted Vegetables
(serves 4)

1 lb linguine
1 cup chicken stock
10 lg cloves garlic, cut in half
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 lb cherry tomatoes, cut in half
1 lb asparagus, cut into 2″ lengths
1/2 lb zucchini cut into 2″ pieces
1/2 lb summer squash cut into 2″ pieces
1 large red bell pepper, cut into chunks
8 med scallions, white parts only, cut into 2″ lengths
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

In a small saucepan, combine garlic and stock. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender. Place in a blender or food processor along with vinegar, and puree until smooth. Return to the saucepan and keep warm over low heat.

In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, asparagus, zucchini, summer squash, bell peppers, and scallions. Drizzle oil over the top, season with salt and pepper and toss to coat well. Place on a baking sheet and roast, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes or until tender.

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook linguine for 6 to 8 minutes, or until tender but firm. Drain and place in a large serving bowl. Toss with the roasted vegetables and garlic puree. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.

Your Questions About Fox 23

Jenny asks…

What % of Tea Party folks get most of their TV news from Fox News?

Sixty-three percent say they get the majority of their political and current events news on television from the Fox News Channel, compared to 23 percent of Americans overall.

Thirty percent of Tea Party supporters believe Mr. Obama was born in another country, despite ample evidence to the contrary. Another 29 percent say they don’t know. Twenty percent of Americans overall, one in five believes the president was not born in the United States.

Eighty-eight percent disapprove of President Obama’s performance on the job, compared to 40 percent of Americans overall. Asked to volunteer what they don’t like about Mr. Obama, the top answer, offered by 19 percent of Tea Party supporters, was that they just don’t like him.

Tea Party supporters are less likely than Americans overall to believe whites have more opportunities to get ahead than blacks. Just 16 percent of Tea Party supporters say whites have more opportunities to get ahead, compared to 31 percent of all Americans. Seventy-three percent say both have equal opportunity, compared to 60 percent of Americans overall.

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20002529-503544.html

Michelle answers:

In order to support their views I’d say a hundred percent of them get their news from a Murdock owned media. They may tune in to local channels for weather and road conditions, but their political news comes from FOX.

Obviously FOX has found their niche market, and its just a good thing they are too small in number to really affect the nation. Locally though, they can give us representatives that are equally inane and they can make a very negative impact that way. Sane Republicans need a way to take back their party and marginalize the far right, or they won’t have a cohesive party to run in national elections.
