Your Questions About Fox 23

Mary asks…

Is the user Daffydilly the most brainwashed pro-establishment user on the politics section?

This guy spent months on end attacking Ron Paul, the only candidate running who wasn’t a part of the establishment. Then he attacked the Occupy movement on the left as well.

It seems he is against any grassroots political movement or grassroots supported candidate, whether they are on the left wing or the right wing. He seems to spend hours a day defending the corrupt political establishment and attacking anyone who threatens that establishment.

Bonus question: How many hours of Fox News do you think this guy watches each day

Michelle answers:

Actually I spent time telling the truth about Ron “retard” Paul. I’m happy to repeat the facts:

There is a “coming race war in our big cities” and of a “federal-homosexual cover-up” to play down the impact of AIDS.

The U.S. Government’s redesign of currency (started in 1993) to include different colors – a move aimed at thwarting counterfeiters – actually was part of a plot to allow the government to track Americans using the “new money.”

Martin Luther King Jr Day is a “Hate Whitey Day.”

“Today, gangs of young blacks bust into a bank lobby firing rounds at the ceiling.” also that “We don’t think a child of 13 should be held as responsible as a man of 23. That’s true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult, and should be treated as such.”

He defended Marge Schott the former Cincinnati Reds owner, who was “being crucified” after she referred to her own players as “million dollar ni***rs,” said that “sneaky goddamn Jews are all alike” and “only fruits wear earrings,” and claimed that Hitler was an initially positive force for Germany.

Ron Paul advocated a separate state for whites in South Africa, writing, “If everyone accepts the notion that a homeland can be created for the Palestinians, I wonder why no consideration is given by world opinion leaders to a similar situation for the whites in South Africa, as they have requested.”

On the Oklahoma City bombing: “Were there, as some people now say, two bombs that went off in the building? And might the government have the wrong man? Who doubts the possibility that the government – which lied about Waco and Ruby Ridge – may also be covering up true information and planting false information about the Oklahoma bombing?” The newsletter then cited “a courageous cover story” from The New American, the official magazine of the John Birch Society, as evidence.

Citing a tape recording of a 911 call made by Branch Davidian leader David Koresh. “Far from revealing a crazy madman, the tapes show him to be a reasonable person, despite his alleged religious views, with a traditional American request: to be left alone.” he also asserted that “What happened at Waco was a human rights violation as serious as any that occurred in the waning days of the Soviet Union.” It further referred to “the martyrs at Waco” and said, “Lesser crimes in the past have led to the overthrow of whole governments.” In later newsletter issues, Waco was referred to as a “holocaust.”

Warned about a provision of the 1994 Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act, which encouraged the recruitment of police officers from Hong Kong, saying that it “reminds me of King George’s Hessian mercenaries used against our Founding Fathers.”

That AIDS sufferers “enjoy the attention and pity that comes with being sick.”

A “plot for world government, world money and world central banking.”

The plan by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to “suspend the Constitution” in a falsely declared national emergency.

Alleged that a female terrorist who bombed a disco in Berlin frequented by American servicemen (an operation backed by the Libyan government) “was in cahoots with Syria, or Israel’s Mossad, which always seeks to stir up anti-Arab feeling here.”

Revived conspiracy theories about the U.S.S. Liberty, namely that Israel deliberately attacked an American warship in the Mediterranean (investigations by both the U.S. And Israeli governments concluded that the attack was a mistake).

Referred to the Americans With Disabilities Act as a “totalitarian law” because “dentists can no longer refuse to work on the bloody mouths of AIDS carriers.” The piece referred to then-Assistant Attorney General and future Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick (inaccurately called “Patrick Deval”) as “evil.”

Another newsletter headline said: “AIDS – the Government Lies Again.” It attributes to a mysterious “Dr. Arnold” the claim that “AIDS can be transmitted through means other than sexual intercourse and blood transfusion, specifically saliva, tears, sweat, feces and urine.” The newsletter also advocated that “federal laws which force schools to accept students known to carry a fatal, communicable disease, and businesses to employ adult victims as ‘handicapped’” should be repealed.

Claimed AIDS was being transmitted via the U.S Postal Service. The allegations were sourced to Robert Mendelsohn, a self-proclaimed “medical heretic,

Obama is pro-business, North Korea and Iran are harmless, and Israel is the new Nazi Empire. 9/11 was an inside job committed by Bush and Cheney. Hitler was misunderstood, Truman was a war criminal, and Lincoln is the anti-Christ. Plus, the Joos run everything. You should read this book called The Protocols. Have you ever heard of John Birch?

David asks…

How do TV networks decide how many episodes a TV show will have in a season?

Most have around 24, sometimes 22, sometimes 26. How does this get decided? for instance, both Glee and House air on FOX, and despite Glee having much higher ratings than House, it only has 22 episodes this season, while House has 23 (and often 24). So how is this decided?

Michelle answers:

I would think it’s mainly a Budget thing-remember TV is a Business just like any other- they are In it to make a Profit
And Glee has to Pay for Every song they use on the show-( Copyright Dues) which would take a good bite of their Budget

Is there a way to have Firefox remember only specific forms or addresses?

Is there a way to have Firefox remember only specific forms and email addresses.

I have the option to remember what is entered into forms and the search bar disabled but I would like only some sites that I specify to remember my user name or email address so I only have to enter my password when logging in.

For example: I would like to have firefox remember my email address for my facebook login page but only for that page.

Michelle answers:

Firefox has this add-on called Sxipper;it’s like a dog because you can train it what to remember and what not to;it can save your passwords for all sites that you choose and e mails too.It is a good one be cause it learns specific forms, e-mails,history’s,etc.The only thing you have to do is install it and teach it what you want to .

Your Questions About Fox News

Sharon asks…

How many Fox News Shills are providing answers in this forum?

I believe that Fox News has people watching this forum and providing answers favorable to their positions.

Michelle answers:

We’re seeing the reemergence of a very familiar pattern.

1. Right-wingers shout loudly about bogus story.

2. Fox News picks up bogus story, reports on it incessantly.

3. Right-wingers and Fox News start complaining that “liberal media” are ignoring bogus story.

4. Other outlets are shamed into covering bogus story, mini-frenzy ensues.

5. Pundits credit Fox News for “being ahead of the curve.”

6. Responsible media outlets determine bogus story is bogus long after damage is done.

7. Repeat.

James asks…

Why are members of the RNC and Fox news smearing Palin?

I watch Fox news all the time, and they were talking about Palin’s child having a child all day. Even last night members of the RNC went out of their way to bring it up. Can someone tell me why both would do that?

Michelle answers:

I also have been seeing the same thing!
I’m not sure, but it seems even some in the RNC is not for Palin

Its sad to see Fox news talking about more then anyone else

Donna asks…

Why does my teacher make fun of fox news?

He says to the class all the time that we should be up to date with world history. He said even fox news would be good to watch at a minimum. And he always says suff that is making fun of fox news. Why is this?

Michelle answers:

Fox News has a high error rate. That is why it is best to have other news sources to compare.

Glen Beck was slanting his news to make people buy gold and supplies for disasters.

Chris asks…

Why do people continue to watch Fox News?

Fox News is the most biased, racist, fabrication of news you can possibly get. Why do people continue to watch that channel?

Michelle answers:

Fox News is equivalent to AOL.

Both are bright and shiny and simple and they’re both for people who simply don’t know any better.

Your Questions About Food Network

Richard asks…

What do you use your food processor for? Can you give me some ideas for great meals that use a processor?

Just bought one because on the food network they use it for virtually everything but now I can’t remember any recipes. What are some good recipes that you use often in a processor for dinners?
I am actually making meatloaf tonight but didn’t know if I could put the meat in the processor? I chopped the onions and everything in there.

Michelle answers:

It’s so nice to have a processor. Gyoza and meatloaf are so easy to make in the process. Here are a few more recipes we use it for. =)

Red Lentil Soup with Curry and Coconut Milk

4 to 6 servings

* 3 Tbs. Vegetable oil
* 2 medium onions, chopped (2 cups)
* 1 cup red lentils
* 3 medium carrots, peeled and roughly chopped (1 cup)
* 14-oz. Can coconut milk
* 1 bay leaf
* 3 cloves garlic, minced
* 1-inch piece fresh ginger, minced
* 1 Tbs. Curry powder, preferably hot
* 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1. In medium saucepan, heat 2 Tbs. Oil over medium heat. Add onions, and cook, stirring often, until onions start to brown, about 10 minutes. Add 4 cups water, lentils, carrots, coconut milk, 1 tsp. Salt and bay leaf. Cover, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, partially covered, until lentils are tender, about 20 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, in small skillet, heat remaining 1 Tbs. Oil over medium heat. Add garlic, ginger, curry powder and cilantro. Cook, stirring often, until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add to soup.
3. Remove bay leaf. In food processor or blender, puree soup in batches until velvety smooth. Taste, and add a bit more salt if desired. Serve hot.

7-Vegetable Chicken Stew with Dumplings (You can add different veggies if you choose.)

SERVES 4

* 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, each breast cut in 2 or 3 pieces
* 4 small potatoes, preferably red ones,cut into quarters
* 2 carrots, peeled and coarsely chopped
* 2 onions, peeled and quartered
* 2 stalks celery, sliced
* 1 1/2 cups cubed, peeled rutabagas
* 1 1/2 cups cubed, peeled sweet potatoes
* 4 cups chicken stock
* 1 teaspoon dried thyme
* 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
* 1 cup frozen peas

Dumplings

* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
* 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
* 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 cup milk, preferably lowfat milk

1. In a large pot, combine chicken, all veg except peas, stock and spices; bring to a boil over high heat.
2. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes; stir in peas.
3. Meanwhile, in a food processor or by hand, make dumplings: combine flour, parsley, butter, baking powder and salt until mixture is in coarse crumbs; stir in milk, then drop by tablespoonfuls onto the hot stew; you should have about 6 mounds.
4. Cover pot and simmer– don’t boil hard and DON’T lift the lid– for 15 minutes.
Http://www.recipezaar.com/7-Vegetable-Chicken-Stew-with-Dumplings-16412

Update: Most recipes say to process other ingredients and add to meat by hand but some don’t. Example : ” Mix all the ingredients except the meat in the food processor. Add the meat and pulse until fully incorporated with the other ingredients.” http://blogs.familyeducation.com/parenting/moms/sweet-pea-chef/ten-rrific-recipe-9-food-processor-meatloaf
It depends the ingredients you’re using and how you like the texture. I would tend to use it more with ground turkey and less with ground beef.
Alton Brown doesn’t use the processor for the meat and adds wants you to not even squeeze the meat. Http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/good-eats-meat-loaf-recipe/index.html

Carol asks…

Opinion about Geoffrey Zakarian one of the Chopped Judges on Food network?

i want to know what the people Think about GEOFFREY ZAKARIAN from the show CHOPPED in food network, i really think he is a pompous and pretentious person, no respect for the people on the show. personally i think he is belly button lint, i want to know your opinion.

Michelle answers:

I agree completely. I think he’s a self up lifting asshole. Haha

Linda asks…

Who is your favorite food network star?

2 Food Network favorite star categories:

Who is your favorite food network star- because of their recipes (you have tried them, you love them)?

Who is your favorite food network star- because you like to watch them (but maybe their recipes are not as good as the person above)?

Mine?

Paula Deen for recipes
Giada for her entertainment factor.

Michelle answers:

1. Paula Deen for her southern charm and her smile. I started cooking with more butter and bacon because of her.
2. Bobby Flay for his recipes.

Robert asks…

Have you ever followed a recipe from Food Network to the letter and totally hated it?

I Have, it was Paula Deen’s Three Meat Pasta, the recipe is wrong on Food Network, but I made it as she had on her show…WORST waste of ingredients ever! NOTHING could fix that recipe.
If this has happened to you, who was the cook/chef and what was the recipe…did you rate it afterward?

Michelle answers:

Yes, I’ll star this and fill in the “nasties” later……………

Christopher K.

EDIT I : As much as I like her ideas, I’ve NEVER been able to get ONE dish from Rachel Ray in 30 minutes…..45+, and I’m fast in the kitchen.

And the “pasta” deal with her: Hey, I’m half Italian, but just how much pasta CAN you eat a week???

EDIT II: As much as I absolutely LOVE Paula Deen (and she’s as nice and genuine in person) the fat and cholesterol levels are pretty scary………..

More to come..

EDIT III: Here’s the one that REALLY slayed me:

Plum Tatin Cake, from Ina Garten:

It called for 10-12 “Italian Prune Plums” which I purchased at Costco. I was busy with the recipe, it’s pretty easy, but you have to have a burned sugar topping for it: Once I had the baking dish ready, I cut the “10 to 12 Italian Prune Plums” into halves, I had enough for the Ninth Regiment!!! It ended up making 4 of the cakes, and while they’re delicious, the recipe was WAY off in the measurements.

I guess that forever caveat “buyer beware” has to be employed on the recipes from the FN………..

Your Questions About Fox 23

Sharon asks…

Will the Simpsons really be cancelled this Spring?

I hope not, because the show is older than me. I watched that show since I was 3, and I could not bear seeing it get cancelled. Especially while reality TV shows like Jersey Shore still exist. It would most likely make me lose faith in the media and FOX for good. But I digress, will it be cancelled?

Michelle answers:

Even if it is cancled it will still be the longest running animated series. It’s been going since 1989. It’s stayed popular for almost 23 years! Lets see Family Guy last that long and stay as popular. The Simpsons will always be the best!

Paul asks…

Where are the welfare answers coming from,when I ask about taxes?

I have read Obama’s economic policies three times. I have not seen anything about welfare so are these responses coming from information obtained on Fox News?

Michelle answers:

Because …

Proposed changes in taxes after 2008 General election:

CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN
0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples) McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales

How does this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.

DIVIDEND TAX

MCCAIN 15% (no change)

OBAMA 39.6%
How will this affect you? If you have any money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be paying nearly 40% of the money earned on taxes if Obama become president. The experts predict that higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains would crash the stock market yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.

INCOME TAX

MCCAIN (no changes)
Single making 30K – tax $4,500
Single making 50K – tax $12,500
Single making 75K – tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K – tax $18,750
Married making 125K – tax $31,250

OBAMA
(reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)
Single making 30K – tax $8,400
Single making 50K – tax $14,000
Single making 75K – tax $23,250
Married making 60K – tax $16,800
Married making 75K – tax $21,000
Married making 125K – tax $38,750

Under Obama your taxes will more than double! How does this affect you? No explanation needed. This is pretty straight forward.

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA Restore the inheritance tax. How does this affect you? Many families have lost businesses, farms and ranches, and homes that have been in their families for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their assets to loved ones will not only lose them to these taxes.

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA
* New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 square feet

* New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren’t high enough already)

* New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity)

* New taxes on retirement accounts and last but not least….

* New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!
.

Democrats / Blamers … I have not seen even one attempt for anyone to … TRY to explain this …

04/13/08 –
President Bush Job Approval
RCP Average
Approve 31.0%
Disapprove 65.5%
Spread -34.5%

Congressional Job Approval (DEMOCRATICALLY CONTROLLED) **********
RCP Average
Approve 22.0%
DISAPPROVE 70.0% **********
Spread -48.0%
.
Democrats have to recognize that since the 73rd Congress in 1933
… For a MAJORITY of THE LAST 65 YEARS
… Democratic Houses of Representatives and Democratic Senates have CONTROLLED the nation and the President.

A TOTAL of 38 Sessions with Democrats in CONTROL for 28 of those!

WE need to inform/TELL our political representatives that WE NEED TO PASS a Constitutional Amendment for the LINE ITEM VETO.

This will keep the SPECIAL INTEREST GARBAGE from being attached to valuable legislation.

If Congress wants to give the president that power, they will have to pass a constitutional amendment, Supreme Justice John Paul Stevens said. “If there is to be a new procedure in which the president will play a different role in determining the text of what may become a law, such change must come not by legislation but through the amendment procedures set forth in Article V of the Constitution,” Stevens said, on June 25th, 1998.

IF your special interest is SO valuable, why do you have to HIDE it in valuable legislation?

So, with them REFUSING to PASS the Line Item Veto, in reality, the House and Senate have REALLY been controlling the country!!

AND, with the CURRENT Senate and Congress having the WORST approval rating in HISTORY, hopefully we will see a LOT of changes after the general elections.

A recent Reuters poll is out and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have pulled an upset: They have managed to make George Walker Bush twice as popular as CONGRESS.

RECENTLY – – JUST 13% of Likely Voters now say the DEMOCRATICALLY CONTROLLED Congress is doing a good or excellent job. A recent Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 43% give Congress a poor rating.
Those results represent a slight decrease from the previous month, when 15% gave Congress a good or excellent rating.

Democrats generally believe in heavy fines for honest work, while rewarding sloth and indulgence.

Do YOU think that people should be able to do absolutely nothing productive and get government hand-outs for sloth and indulgence – healthcare, tobacco, alcohol, drugs, STDs, etc. ??

Do YOU want to have YOUR MONEY TAKEN from YOU and YOUR FAMILY to FINANCE these people ???
.

JUNIOR U. S. Senator Obama did NOT complete his FIRST term in office !!
… With just 143 days of ACTUAL experience
… HE decided
… That he DESERVED to be THE President of THE United States of America !!!
.
TAXES … TAXES … AND … MORE TAXES … Are what is driving American corporations
… To downsize in America and expand in “friendlier” countries !!!
.

Robert asks…

Is it legal to own a fox as a pet in the state of Georgia?

I was just wondering. And also if it is, does anybody know where to find one?

Michelle answers:

No, it is considered a non-domesticated animal.
Summary of Law: It is unlawful for persons to possess inherently dangerous animals as “pets.” Inherently dangerous animals include, but are not limited to the following orders: Marsupialia (kangaroos); Primates (chimpanzees, gorillas, macaques); Carnivora (canines, felines); Proboscidae (elephants); Crocodylia (crocodiles, alligators, cobras, all poisonous rear-fanged species). Only persons engaged in the wholesale or retail wild animal business or persons exhibiting wild animals to the public will be issued a license to possess inherently dangerous animals.

Georgia Laws Governing Private Possession of Exotic Animals

• GA. CODE ANN. §27-5-4 – Wild animal licenses and permits generally.

(a) Unless otherwise provided in Code Section 27-5-5, it shall be unlawful for any person to import, transport, transfer, sell, purchase, or possess any wild animal listed in Code Section 27-5-5 or specified by the board by regulation without first obtaining a wild animal license from the department as provided in Code Section 27-2-23 or a wild animal permit as provided in this Code section; provided, however, anyone holding a deer-farming license is not required to have a wild animal license or permit to possess farmed deer. Unless otherwise specified by the department, such license or permit shall be effective from April 1 through March 31 and may contain such conditions and restrictions, including restrictions as to numbers and species of animals, as the department determines appropriate in light of the provisions of this chapter. An applicant for a wild animal license or permit shall have the burden of proving that any wild animals subject to such license or permit are or will be imported, transported, transferred, sold, purchased, or possessed in compliance with this chapter.

(b) Wild animal licenses will be issued only to persons engaged in the wholesale or retail wild animal business or persons exhibiting wild animals to the public. Wild animal permits will be issued at no cost and only to persons for scientific or educational purposes or to a pond owner for grass carp or grass carp hybrids where the department has determined that the possession of such carp by the pond owner will not constitute a threat to wildlife; provided, however, that no such permit shall be required for persons buying triploid grass carp from properly licensed wild animal dealers authorized to sell grass carp where the bill of sale is retained by the buyer as proof of such sale and where the triploid grass carp are to be stocked only into a private pond; provided, further, that no such license or permit shall be required solely for the transportation of wild animals through this state where the animals remain in this state no more than 24 hours and are not sold or transferred while in this state.

(c) It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, transfer, deliver, or surrender a wild animal listed in Code Section 27-5-5 or specified by the board by regulation to any other person unless that other person holds a license or permit issued pursuant to this chapter for such wild animal or is exempt from the requirement for such a permit or license by the provisions of subsection (d) of this Code section.

(d) No wild animal license or permit shall be required for a carrier regulated either by the Interstate Commerce Commission, the Civil Aeronautics Board, or the Public Service Commission to import or transport any wild animal.

(e) Any licenses issued by the department to any person for public exhibition purposes shall be conditioned so that the person operating a wild animal exhibition in a nontraveling, fixed facility shall make the facility open to the public for a time no less than 30 hours per week for at least six months each year; and the person operating a wild animal exhibition in a transient facility shall make the facility open to the public for a reasonable period of time and for reasonable hours of the day, depending upon the nature of the exhibition. The department is authorized to issue such licenses in accordance with this chapter requiring adequate facilities for the humane handling, care, and confinement of wild animals and ensuring public safety. Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, exhibitions of wild animals by federal, state, city, county, or municipal governments or their agencies and transient circuses, which circuses can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the department that 10 percent of the proceeds from such exhibitions shall be devoted to charitable purposes in this state, shall not be required to purchase a wild animal license but shall be required to obtain the license, at no charge, from the department; provided, however, all other provisions of this chapter and all regulations relating to the humane handling, care, and confinement of wild animals must be complied with.

(f) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, a wild animal license or permit is required for the possession of any wild animal listed in subsection (b) of Code Section 27-5-5 or as required by regulation of the board. Liability insurance is required for the possession of any wild animal that is classified as being inherently dangerous to people in subsection (a) of Code Section 27-5-5 or as required by regulation of the board. Prior to the issuance of a wild animal license or permit for animals classified as being inherently dangerous to people, any applicant other than a governmental agency or university research facility must provide proof of liability insurance from a company licensed to do business in this state or an unauthorized insurer if permitted by Chapter 5 of Title 33.Such insurance must be maintained in force and effect and cover claims for injury or damage to persons or property in an amount equal to $40,000.00 for each inherently dangerous animal up to a maximum of $500,000.00. The insurance company shall notify the department at least 30 days prior to the termination of the policy by the company. Liability insurance is not required for wild animals that are not considered to be inherently dangerous to people.

(g) Any license or permit issued in accordance with this chapter shall be valid only for the species and numbers of wild animals referenced on the application and the license or permit. The license or permit to hold a female wild animal shall cover her progeny only while the progeny are physically dependent upon her or until her progeny are two months of age, whichever period is longer. It shall also be unlawful to transfer any license or permit issued by the department from one person to another person.

(h) It shall be unlawful for any person holding a license or permit issued pursuant to this chapter to import, transport, sell, transfer, or possess any wild animal in facilities not approved by the department as described in Code Section 27-5-6.

(i) In the event that a determination has been made to revoke, suspend, deny, or refuse to renew any license or permit issued pursuant to this chapter, the applicant for the license or permit may appeal the determination according to the provisions stated in Code Section 27-2-25.

(j) It shall be unlawful for any person holding a license or permit pursuant to this chapter to import, purchase, transport, sell, or transfer any wild animal and fail to record in a record book, within 24 hours after the completion of such a transaction, the date, place, manner, and names and addresses of all persons involved in such a transaction. It shall also be unlawful to fail to maintain such records for a period of 12 months or to fail to provide the department access to such records during all regular business hours.

Sandra asks…

Is this another double standard by the right wing?

Tea party people said they did not get any media attention other than fox news but when a gay rally which had the same amount of the crowd received less media than the tea party. Even fox news barely mentioned it. The tea parties complained about lack of news coverage but do they agree that the gay rights rally received less attention and is unfairly getting media attention.

Michelle answers:

Instead of the Tea party they should change to the C party for constant complainers. These people have nothing to say. They have no clue how there negative energy is destroying their own life. They are a Cancer on the country. We are fortunate that our country is filled with such strong people that don’t get pulled down into their constant complaining & they are truly a very small minority. CNN did give them coverage but they have nothing to say. The only intelligent person in their party & I am not saying I trust him 100% but he speaks well for them & he is a gay man named Lyndsay Graham. I didn’t like the way he got up at the convention & had nothing to say about republicans but put down Obama for the work he did as a community organizer at age 23 when he took several Catholic Parishs from 1 employee to have a staff of 13 when he left for grad. School. What are they going to do about Graham being gay. This party is in such denial. They are truly the something is not right in their minds party.

Your Questions About Fedex

Steven asks…

How long does Fedex Ground take to deliver?

I ordered an item I purchased from Payless Merchendise using Fedex Ground. The place I ordered it from is in Illinois and I live in California. It’s been 5 days and it still hasn’t come. How long is it supposed to take?

Michelle answers:

I believe, fedex the standard shipping is from 6 to 10 days. Payless and most other businesses always have an available other optional shipping to choose from. But if you hadn’t seen the choices, then it was most likely shipped standard, which at times can be like snail mail.

So I would suggest, that if you don’t receive it by the 10 th day. Then call Payless and see what the hold up is. Or go straight to there website. Fedex on line can be helpful to, if Payless gave you a Fedex tracking number to track your products.

Maria asks…

How much money would I get as a FedEx package handler?

Anyone know how much money would I get as a FedEx package handler / delivery in California? Full-time, benefits, the works? Thanks.

Michelle answers:

When I started at FedEx Express 5 years ago, I started at $11.64/hour and worked about 20 hours a week. It was third shift, so I got a third shift premium of $0.50/hour (this premium is no longer there). The benefits at FedEx are great. For a single person, it’s less than $40 per month, and that covers full medical, dental, vision, psychiatric, and drug and alcohol dependency. FedEx also provides tuition reimbursement. There is also an agency within FedEx known as the FedEx Employee Association, that deals with companies for whom we ship and get FedEx employees discounts on products and services (for example, cell phones and cell phone plans, cars, cruises, etc.). Also, because FedEx is considered an airline, you would be considered an airline employee and can get really, really cheap airfare (about $30 to Florida). We used to be able to fly on FedEx planes for free anywhere in the world but after 9/11 that changed, understandably.

Note: this is all true for FedEx EXPRESS. I’m not sure the rules for FedEx Ground, Freight, or any others.

Mark asks…

I lost my Fedex tracking number, is there a way to recover it?

I already submitted an inquiry on the Fedex customer service page, but they take forever to reply. So I just want to see if anyone here knows.
I went to a Fedex authorized shipper to return products to a website I purchased them from. I lost the receipt that they gave me.

Michelle answers:

Yes if you ordered something online like on Amazon.com you can get the tracking number from your order history. The other way is to call fedex themselves and tell them your name address, where you ordered from, etc and they’ll be more than willing to help you out.

Ken asks…

When does Fedex start to deliver on saturdays in december?

I am suppose to get a package from FedEx. And I think that ill get it Monday. But my mom said that in December they start to deliver on Saturdays but when do they start to deliver on Saturdays?

Michelle answers:

It is 12:00 midnight Saturday morning. I just let my dogs out and had a package on my back porch. An hour ago it wasn’t there. My delivery date was to be Saturday. My tracking info said it was out for delivery on Friday.

Your Questions About Firefox

Michael asks…

How can I only allow users of Mozilla Firefox to visit my website?

My website is only compatible with Mozilla Firefox. What code could I use to make it so only users of this browser can access my site?

Michelle answers:

I don’t think that you can do that. I guess the users will just have to find out that they can only access your website through Firefox.

Donna asks…

How do you resolve Firefox 3 memory usage problems?

Every once and a while, Firefox will hog up the memory to over around 300 MB of RAM (looked through it via Task Manager). It easily resolves by just restarting it, but eventually it just climbs back up overtime. Is there a solution to this? I don’t use a lot of tabs; just maybe 5-6.

Michelle answers:

Look carefully at the Firefox Add-Ons you are using. I recently experienced a problem where memory usage suddenly soared to nearly 1G in use within a few minutes of time, for no obvious reason.

I disabled all of the add-ons except Flashblock (I hate useless animation) and it never happened again. I have not yet tried enabling them again, one by one, but try disabling them all and see if it helps you.

Chris asks…

How do I switch to the new Yahoo Mail using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox?

I’ve downloaded the latest version of Mozilla Firefox (3.5.5) but I can’t switch to the new version of Yahoo Mail. Yahoo says the all new mail isn’t supported by my browser and that I need to download Firefox 2 or higher which I have done ( I have version 3.5), but it will only let me use Mail Classic.

Michelle answers:

Download Mozilla Firefox 3.5 – http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/

Then get the AdBlockPlus add on – https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

I use both of these and all of my inbox’s (incl. Hotmail and aol) are free of adverts. What AdBlockPlus does is scan the page and block the adverts from loading. So in doing that it also speeds up your browsing as there is not so much crap to load.

Download Google Chrome – http://www.google.com/chrome?hl=en

? Download and install Privoxy.
? Click on the Wrench icon in Chrome in the upper right corner.
? Choose options -> Under The Hood -> Change proxy settings.
? In the Internet Properties dialog’s Connections tab, click on the LAN settings button.
? Check off “Proxy settings” and in the address setting add 127.0.0.1 and in the port 8118.
? If you have the option, you can also check off “Bypass proxy for local settings”.
? Click “OK,” close Chrome and restart it.

Download Internet Explorer – http://www.microsoft.com/windows/Internet-explorer/default.aspx

First, you need to download a list of filters adapted from the adblock plus list for Internet Explorer 8. This can be found here or attached at the end of this article. Download the archive and extract its content.

NOTE: If you want to have the ad blocking filters running each time you use Internet Explorer 8, then follow the instructions on how to keep InPrivate Filtering enabled forever.

? Start Internet Explorer 8, click on Tools and then on Manage Add-ons.
? In the Manage Add-ons window, click on InPrivate Filtering and then on Import.
? Browse to the location where you extracted the rules.xml file, select it and click on Open.
? When the import is done, you will receive a notification such as the one below.
? Now close the Manage Add-ons window and you are done.
? If you know other sources for good filters, don’t hesitate to share them with us by leaving a comment.

? S???su? Oo??? ?

James asks…

How do you move Firefox bookmarks and site passwords from one computer to another?

I am running Firefox on a windows machine, and will be using them on a windows machine also. It would be nice if I could save the passwords and bookmarks to a flash-drive for the transfer.

Michelle answers:

I don’t think you can move stored passwords, as they are stored in the browser security settings and temporary files.

For Firefox Bookmarks it’s very easy. And you can even move them cross platform also (like from Windows to a Mac, or from Windows to Linux or Mac to Linux or the other way around).
Go to Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks and click on Import and Backup, select Export Bookmarks to HTML, save the resulting HTML file.
Copy the Bookmarks HTML file to external media (USB or CD/DVD) and copy to the other computer. You can even e-mail the Bookmarks HTML file to yourself and save it in the new computer.
In the other computer, go to Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks and click on Import and Backup, select Import Bookmarks to HTML, search for the Bookmarks HTML file copied from the first computer and open it, it will load all your old Bookmarks into the other computer’s Firefox Bookmarks.
