Most of the facilities are closed on Sunday as well (though a few rare ones are open to the public.)

The only times that Fedex delivers on a Sunday is for emergency packages. And your *phone* is *not* an emergency. Emergencies (in Fedex-land) are such things as… Medical emergency (someone is in surgery, needed for operating a hospital, insulin for a diabetic), a plane ‘grounded’ (because a grounded plane means either a bunch of people or a lot of good are being kept from where they need to get), a factory down (machines aren’t running – jobs are on the line, here…), payroll delivery (and very, very, very few business have payroll delivered on Sunday) and certain ‘biological products’ (there’s a time sensitivity – can’t keep certain things frozen or colled for too long)

As a comparison, things I have heard people call ”an emergency” – that Fedex does *not* consider an emergency:
Phones (numerous times, actually…)
Artistic chocolates
Birthday gift for… Four-yr-old daughter, wife, husband, 9-yr-old son, grandson, grandparents
Anniversary gift
Textbooks needed for class that day
Computer/laptop/Kindle/Smartphone

There is a (pricey) service that Fedex offers called ‘same-day delivery’ – – whereby if you **need** a package picked up before noon and delivered 400 miles away before 8pm (or similar timing), you can have it happen – – it better be worth spending an average person’s weekly paycheck, or more, to get it there.

If you live in a condo or apartment (mailboxes in a lobby), i would leave a note telling fedex not to leave it outside your door or in the lobby. Tell him to hold it until you get back.

If you don’t leave any instructions, 1. He might leave it in the mailbox or outside your door. 2. He might take it back and make another delivery attempt on monday and tuesday. (fedex doesn’t deliver on saturday right?). If it does deliver on saturday, it will make an attempt on saturday and monday. After the third attempt, it will hold the package for a few more days and if nobody picks it up, it will send it back. After the third attempt, you’ll have to pick it up.

You can also arrange to have fedex deliver it somewhere else.

If you have the facebook app and you have logged in your details then yes whenever you click on the icon it will log in straight away. But if you dont want this to happen you will have to log out like as if you are using a computer

If you look for the lock on the login page, you won’t see it, because the login page itself is not encrypted. However, if you look at the HTML code for the page, you will see that the login form posts to:
https://login.facebook.com/login.php

Which means that whatever you enter into that form will be encrypted.

This isn’t 100% secure. If the main page is not https, you can’t be guaranteed that the information on the page is actually coming from the facebook site. In theory, a man in the middle, or someone who fools your computer into thinking www.facebook.com is on another site, could supply a different form that doesn’t post to the encrypted site on facebook.com.

In practice, though, I’d be surprised if anyone tried that sort of attack on facebook… A banking site would be a more likely target.

It’s because,for some reason,facebook comes up as a threat to your antivirus…you need to tell the antivirus you trust this site…does a gold bar not appear below the web address bar?if it does click on it and allow.only other option is turn antivirus off which i’ve had to do…though it depends if it’s you who will foot the bill if something goes wrong.xx

When was the last time you were able to access your facebook?

If clearing your browser didn’t work, then try using another browser. If it still won’t work, try another computer. If the account have been deactivated, just by logging in to your FB account will automatically reactivate it.

I was surprised when Brad was cut. I thought he was a great chef and had charm. I think the judges know what qualities a star needs to have and maybe they thought brad wasn’t quick enough to be relaxed in front of a camera. I’m not really sure though. I thought Aria was going to be cut this week and the final two would be Brad and Aarti. But I guess not.

I don’t think Aria is going to win because I saw a commercial during the show that was called family style, did anyone else catch that? That’s not the only reason though. I think a lot people liked her and stopped when she started to do worse and cut off Aarti at the supper club. I think she is likable but maybe doesnt have the cooking skill of a food network star.

Tom is funny, is a good cook, and has a good personality. I think he has a chance but needs to be more consistant.

Herb could be good too. He has a great personality and a lot of energy but his emotions take over sometimes. If he can get past that then I think he has a real chance.

I think Aarti has the best chance from what I can see so far. She does have a self esteem problem but people still like her anyway. She cooks well, knows what she is talking about, and is very likable. Also she brings something different to the table…Indian food. I think that is what really sets her apart because the food network is probably looking for something new.

These are just my opinions and this is just what I feel about who is going to win.

I just started my subscription and got my first issue a couple of days ago, and I LOVE it! It comes monthly. I paid $15 for 10 issues, I believe.

Like I said, I love the magazine. It does not have recipe cards in it that you can actually tear out, but it’s like a cookbook and it does have tons of recipes of all different types and you can find them all on the Food Network website, so you’d be able to print one out if need be. This month they did have a little booklet in the magazine that you can tear out though that was like 100 ways to use jarred pasta sauce or something, and I thought that was pretty cool and some of the stuff actually looked pretty good.

It also has a lot of different fun things in it, such as a feature of one of the Food Network Star’s home kitchens. This month it was Bobby Flay’s. It also has quizzes and LOTS of different tips and tricks.

You can find this month’s copy of Food Network Magazine at some Walmart stores, if you want to just flip through it, or buy it and see if you like it before you subscribe.

I agree with you! This is soooo annoying, and food network is my favorite food/recipe site! And some of the recipes are only available for a limited time, which means they can just disappear right out of your recipe box! (which I had happen once and I was not a happy camper)!

Now I either print them, or usually I copy and paste them to a file folder – then I can keep them organized right on my computer, plus I can get to them even if my internet connection goes down!

Just don’t copy and paste the whole page – it’s a mess – just do from where the recipe starts listing the ingredients. I just type in the name of the recipe on the folder name.

If it was mailed to you, then the “prepaid” payment has already been used. However, if it wasn’t, then you probably won’t have to pay for it.

You will need to take it to a FedEx store though, because the USPS and FedEx are not connected. When you take it to the FedEx store, the person working there will be able to tell you for sure if and how much you have to pay.

My experience with FedEx is that they are more reliable than UPS and there is less of a chance that the package looks like it was hit by a steamroller.
Looking at the stops, it tells me that it is a ground delivery as all rush shipments go thru Memphis (or was it Nashville?). Ground delivery is not a priority item for FedEx or any other courier service.
As for the package, it is probably on a long haul truck to your regional center. There is a chance it might have been delayed by weather. I would suggest that you check the last thing you do tonight. If it is in the city, you should see it delivered sometime the next day (probably mid day to late afternoon). If not, it might be the next day.
BTW, don’t be surprised if the package was opened for inspection. You probably was shipping items that could be mistaken for real weapons you know.

FedEx delivers on Saturdays if that service is requested. Usually it is an extra fee to get Saturday delivery.

The only Exception is FedEx HomeDelivery which delivers any day of the week except Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.
