I believe if FedEx is going to try to collect the past due amount before they’ll deliver anything else for you, they’ll make you pay the old balance before they’ll allow you to print a label.

Once those boxes are labeled and in the system, no one checks to see if the shipper owes money. They just get it delivered.

First Overnight is before 8:30 AM, Priority Overnight is between 10:30 (UPS) and Noon (FedEx), Express Saver or Standard overnight is later in the afternoon, then there are all sorts of 2 and 3 day air shipments and ground (which can be late at night).

Each of the carriers has their own web site which will give you the delivery commitments and costs based on where it’s being shipped from and to, the type of delivery address (home or business) and the service level you select.

Your selection of service level and delivery date on ups.com and fedex.com will tell you when it should be delivered (but that can change because of weather and other factors)

That said as a rule I’d look for each show to restart in late September/Early October

Look for

1. Castle on September 19 or 26 (1 launched in March, while 2 & 3 were on 9/21 and 20)
2. Chuck on the 9/23 or held until January (1,2 &4 were between 9/20 and 9/29, with 3 being in January)
3. BBT on 9/29 or 10/6 (1-4 have all debuted between 9/21-24)
4. Vamp. Diaries will likely come really early or Late, so 9/15 or 10/13 (9/9 and 9/10 so far)
5. Bones 9/15 or 9/22 (1-6 have ranged from 8/30-9/23 so far, 2 and 4 being early were likely to accomodate Fox’s airing of the World Series, and how the game dates alligned with it’s then timeslot)

I am totally guessing based on when the cited dates that they usually launched and their day of the week from this past season (or in Chuck’s case where I did read it was getting a 12 episode season on Friday — which also lends it to being held until January, but no doubt it will be in the can by September so they can use it as a back up if something else tanks first)

You are right, modern games need a graphics card (or also called a gpu) to run properly.
It can be a problem identifying what type of graphics card your computer will take.

There is 2 types.

The graphics card just sits in one of these slots and you connect your monitor to it, through one of the little panels at the bottom rear of pc case

you will have to find which one your pc takes. Google you make and model number of ypur pc followed by specs. Eg. Acer aspire t671 specs. Or just take side off pc
these will tell you what type of card your pc takes.

Also the better graphics cards need more power to run.
Most mid to high level cards need a 400w psu (power supply unit, where the power lead enters pc)
but most store bought computers only have a 250w or 300w psu. So sometimes you have to upgrade this as well. But some lower level cards will run on a 300w psu.

Also you need a balance.
A slow processor with a fast graphics card will slow the graphics card, as the processor feeds data to the graphics card, the gpu will have to wait on the slow processor.
This also works in reverse with a fast processor and slow gpu.

Well, as far as I know, or at least at my college, the FAFSA is the only application because it applies you for the Pell Grant, Cal Grant (if your a CA resident and its before the deadline), the SEOG, and anything else out there.

You want to include on your FAFSA only the school codes for school in which you plan to possibly attend at any time during the given academic year.

So, for example, if you are completing the 08-09 FAFSA, only includes school codes for those school in which you may possibly attend during that academic year. If you know that you most certainly will not transfer till next school year or later, then there is no need to include those schools on your FAFSA right now.

When you include a school code on your FAFSA you are asking the Federal Student Aid Central Processing Center to send all your information to that particular school. If you do not plan to attend that school at any point during that academic year, then it is futile for that school to be sent your information.

If you think that there is possibility that you might attend a school during the given academic year, no matter how slim that chance may be, go ahead and include that code. It is much easier for that school to already have your FAFSA information early than to try and add it on at the last minute. If you include a particular school on your FAFSA because you thought you might actually attend during that academic year, but then you end up not attending, it’s no big deal. Your FAFSA file will never be completed at that school, therefore there are no negative consequences.

$8,088 sounds right based on the information that you provided here (obviously, there is much more to it than just income and # in household). If you think the computer system calculated your EFC incorrectly and would like to calculate your EFC *by hand* to double-check it, the forumla isn’t a secret — it’s available online here:

If you’re questioning whether an $8,088 EFC should make your son eligible for grant aid… Well, unless you’re prepared to undertake a massive political campaign, you probably don’t want to dispute the FAFSA formula. And disputing a school’s institutional financial aid awarding process certainly won’t get you their good side.

There are some types of aid that the Financial Aid Office has limited power to adjust, even on appeal. Pell Grants, for example are only available to families with EFCs of $3,850 or lower, which means that your income would have to decrease A LOT before you became eligible.

An EFC of $8,088 probably puts you on the cusp of eligibility for other types of aid. For example, there is a certain class of funding known as “Campus-Based Aid” that includes the Federal SEO Grant, Federal Perkins Loan, and Federal College Work-Study Program. Unlike other federal aid programs where the student’s eligibility is predetermined, the *school* is given the authority to allocate campus-based aid. Of course, they do have to offer SEOG to Pell-eligible students first but, after that, they are allowed to extend eligbility to other needy students. It may be the case that your $8,088 EFC “doesn’t make you needy enough” to obtain SEOG at that particular school. That said, most schools DO have an “appeals” process in place by which you can request an adjustment to the aid package that you have been offered. Your school may be able to adjust your EFC slightly if you submit documentation that your FAFSA results do not accurately reflect your ability to pay for your son’s education. I think your question can best be answered as such: filing a FAFSA every year allows you to apply for the types of aid that are available at the school in which you are attending. You are required to file one for every year in which you wish to receive aid whether at a community college or four year university. The BOGG award (which only covers tuition expenses) is only available at the community college level. This is not to say that you will not be eligible for other types of aid (Federal Grants and Loans, as well as State Grants), but again, you must file the FAFSA in order to be considered for these funds.
