If you just have Facebook set to keep you logged in, just click logout and that should be it.

If Chrome itself has your password saved:
Click on the wrench icon and open the Settings menu.
Click on “Show advanced settings” at the bottom.
Scroll down to “Passwords and forms”.
Next to “Offer to save passwords I enter on the web.”, click on “Manage saved passwords”
You should see Facebook on the list. Delete it, and you should be set.

You don’t, Use school computers for school work. Facebook will have to wait until you get home from school. You will be in violation of school computer usage policy your putting yourself at risk of getting suspend or getting your computer privileges taken away. Facebook will be there waiting for you when you get home from school.

Is the store Forever 21 a popular retail store in Michigan?

I live in Los Angeles and I love the Forever 21 store. I was going to get a gift card for someone at Forever 21 in Saint Claire Shores, Michigan. I don’t know if there is a Forever 21 store located near that area. Anybody out there who knows about that area and whether the teenage girls love it as much as we do on the west coast?

Im a teenager, and I live in Michigan, I live really close to St. Clair Shores, and yes… Forever 21 is very popular here, and there are plenty of malls near there that have Forever 21 stores!:) Im sure she would love the gift card.

I am going to be applying to several stores such as forever 21, papaya during my 6 week break in december which will start on the 12. Its a holiday season so I thought it would be a good time. I was wondering when I should start applying, when they’ll get back to me and if most stores hire you temporarily for the holiday season?

It depends on their job availability and your skills, really. If you’re what they’re looking for and they have an opening they could get back to you within hours, days, weeks.. Sadly it just takes time. Have you called them to check on your apps?

What are some good resources when it comes to learning to cook?

My mother is not a very good cook so when it comes to learning she is of little to no use to me. I want to learn to cook because of my LOVE for food. I love a homemade cooked meal especially when the food is REAL and not processed or canned. I want to know some good resources or even direct tips from you about learning to cook. I love watching Food Network, but I have a hard time keeping up with it and I’m am left confused about time durations, ingredients, and the overall gist of what they are preparing.

Many of the recipes you see on Food Network are available on-line so you can print them out and watch the videos and pause them as needed.

Also there are some really good cookbooks with step-by-step directions and pictures. You can find some used ones on half.com or look at new ones at your big book store.

I took my granddaughter to a couple of classes taught by a local chef. One was on knife skills and was excellent as was the one on cooking with herbs. Sometimes the local extension office (Department of Agriculture) or the community college will have free or very inexpensive classes.

I watched a show a few weeks ago and it was really funny and now I cant remember what its called.

I thought it was on the food network, but now I think I might be wrong.
People would go to a restaurant (on a date, or a in a group), and they would have a secret sound piece in their ear. A person in another room would watch them through a secret camera and tell them to do funny things at the table. When they completed these tasks, they would get money.

It would be processed by the shipper’s local station and be on a trailer for the Hartford hub the same night. You would easily get next day delivery. (If the shipper sends it Tuesday, you should get it Wednesday)

Does money in a 529 savings account or 529 cd’s have to be claimed on the FAFSA?

My daughter has several 529 cd’s and a 529 savings account for the cd’s that have matured that are for college tuition. These are in my name with my daughter as beneficiary. Do these need to claimed on the FAFSA and where would it go on the form.

No, these 529s do not have to be claimed on the FAFSA. If you, the parent, are listed as the custodian with the daughter as the beneficiary, they are considered to be a parental asset and do not need to be listed.

Congratulations, having 529s available means you’ve planned ahead for your child’s education.

How do I get my FAFSA transferred?

I filled out my FAFSA with the mindset of attending community college for the Fall 2012 semester. I’ve already turned in the application and although I haven’t heard back from it, it hasn’t been sent to the university I plan on attending, instead of the community college. How can I fix this??

How long ago did you complete the FAFSA? If it was very recently, it may not have been processed yet. This is a very busy time of year, so some delays can be expected.

Did you add the school code for the university? If not, return to the FAFSA site, click on make a correction, and add the code. If you can’t add anything because the FAFSA is still being processed, wait a few days and try again.

Did you receive a Student Aid Report (a SAR)? If you submitted the FAFSA more than two weeks ago and you still haven’t received a SAR, check to see that you submitted it. Students frequently get all the way to the end, but forget to click the submit button.

If none of that seems to fit, then try calling the schools for help.

What are my chances for getting money from FAFSA?

I got a scholarship for tuition, but am absolutely broke as far as rent and books go. I want to fill out a FAFSA, but I’m not sure if I’ll get any money. Is it necessary to put my parents information in? I could, but i’d rather not because i have a bit of a strenuous relationship with them. Does anyone know what’s most likely to get you money? I need around $1,000. Any answers would be most appreciated!

FAFSA is the application used by the federal government to determine your eligibility for aid. You never know what you qualify for until you apply. The maximum Pell Grant is $5,350 per school year. It’s a grant and does not have to be paid back. You must be fairly low income to qualify for the max. You will surely qualify for a Stafford Loan, though.

You must provide your parents income and asset information unless you are over 24, married, have a child. Here is an informative link and a link to the fafsa application. You can partially complete it and save it then go back later. There’s no cost or obligation to accept what they offer.

How do I follow through with FAFSA Verification?

I filed my FAFSA on Jan 7th but I filed using an approximation of our taxes from 2007 because we hadn’t filed our taxes yet.
On Feb 21st I filed my parents taxes online, but I remembered that I my FAFSA had been chosen for verification. How do I inform the Department of Education of my filing status? Should I send them a copy of my taxes?

If you have not done so already, you need to go back into your fafsa application and make corrections using your PIN. You need to choose, “HAVE Filed” and enter the correct 2008 info on it. The Department of Education will send this new info to your school and they will be the ones doing your verification. I have no hard facts on this, but it seems that those who use estimated (aka, incorrect) information are more likely to be selected for verification. Your school will give you a list of everything they need from you to get you through the verification process. Usually they want you to fill out additional forms and turn in your and your parents signed tax forms.

So I stupidly deleted my most visited tab on Firefox thinking I could easily bring it back. And now I don’t know how. Anyone know how? I already went to view, customize, and reinstall default and that didnt work.

Well you can go into the setup for firefox, and see if you can figure out which one of those will bring back your most visted tab. I’m sure it in there somewhere. In you address bar type about:config then hit enter.

Macromedia Flash in firefox works on some pages but not on others?

I have the latest version of Firefox (3.0.5) and I have downloaded the lasted version of Flash, but yet on some site it will work and others it won’t.

If it says “10,0,12,36”, then you have the latest.

But yea, some pages, like the yahoo avatar page, still don’t work for some reasons. It’s the sites fault. You can try fully refreshing (no cache) with Ctrl+F5 (in firefox). Sometimes, it’s a loading error, and it helps.

How do I download Adobe Flash and other flash players on Firefox?

Well, I have Explorer as my main browser, but as I find that Firefox is much faster I have been using it more. Now I want to watch videos and play games on that browser instead of Explorer, but I can’t. I download the flash plug-ins but I still can’t.

Is there some sort of special download for Firefox? Do I need to uninstall and then reinstall the program? Thanks.

You should go ahead and try to re-install the flash plug-ins cause they should work with firefox the same as IE. Make sure your downloading the right ones. The websites that use them will usually have a link to a download if you don’t have it.

Do I have to reinstall my Javascript and Flash Player and other Programs when I switched to Firefox?

I am thinking about switching IE to Firefox and i previously used firefox and I saw that I couldn’t load videos and stuff. Do i have to reinstall them and use the Fire Fox Mirror Link Instead.

You wouldnt have to re-install them. When you something in flash (for example) needs to run in firefox, the browser will prompt you to install a flash add-on. So its an easy conversion to say the least… PS… Get chrome instead 🙂

So awhile back my mom and I were stuck in the Ft. Lauderdale airport and ate at the Food Network Kitchen restaurant that they have there. While the food was pretty good they had the most delicious key lime bundt cake! This stuff was seriously to die for!

Well, I was watching Halloween Wars on the food network, and these teams make these huge sculptures out of pumpkin, cake, rice cereal treat things, pulled sugar, fondant, chocolate, etc. They get scored, and one team wins the challenge then one goes home (obviously).
Well..what do they do with all the food afterward?! Do they just throw it away?

You have to log into Facebook and then submit a request to the link on that Facebook help page.
Your account will be permanently deleted. Every information will be completely erased.

You can also choose to de-activate your account, which just freezes your account instead of deleting.
If you log in, your account will be re-activated and you can use it.

How do I fill out the FAFSA if I am in a legal guardianship?

I live with my grandparents and they support me. My actual parents help out some but it is mostly my grandparents. Do I just fill out the FAFSA as an independent?

Any help will be appreciated.

Michelle answers:

If your grandparents have legal guardianship because your parents willingly gave them that, then you are still a dependent student and should put your parents’ information on your FAFSA.
If the courts intervened and declared your parents unfit and your grandparents were appointed (by the court) as your guardians then you would answer “yes” to the question asking about about “legal guardianship” and therefore can complete the FAFSA as an independent student.
Your grandparents’ information should not be put on the FAFSA unless they legally adopted you.

My mom hasnt gotten her 2012 tax return yet, and I have to apply for fafsa before February 12, and I don’t wanna miss the deadline, is it okay if I just use her 2011 tax return instead?

I wanna start college this year.

The FAFSA must be completed using the 2012 tax return.

Is that the deadline for your school, or what? It’s too soon, I know that isn’t the federal deadline and highly doubt the state deadline.

If you are absolutely certain that it is correct, you can use the 2011 tax forms or her W-2, but you will have to make an amendment later.

How does FAFSA determine how much money I get?

I work part time and I guess could technically file as dependent, but I could also file as independent because I’m going for my masters this spring. What will give me more money? I don’t make much dinero at all, so will adding my parents’ income to my fafsa decrease the funding the govt gives me?

It’s not a matter of choice, it’s a matter of law. If you qualify a dependent you are considered dependent, if you qualify as independent, you are considered independent.
