Why do videos not work in firefox when they work in Explorer?
It seems like in Firefox they only the first couple work. If I reboot a couple will work again – otherwise they won’t play. If I open Explorer and try to play them there – they always work. Anyone know what the problem with my Firefox could be?

Firefox works with a lot of add ons’ and one of them is scripting: check if the site you are connecting to is actually allowed: bottom right hand side.
They are quite easy to use: you control the sites that you are allowing to run on your computer.
IE is not so selective when it comes to allowing and blocking.

The newest version of Firefox wont work for me?
I have tried downloading the newest Firefox, it works fine until most pages wont load. But also i have firefox 3.017 and that works just fine. What could my problem be?
NOTE: don’t tell me to email Mozilla with my question, i can figure that out by myself.

How do I backup the passwords that are stored on my firefox browser?
I need to re-install my Firefox browser, but I want to keep the passwords that are saved. How can I do this?

Password Exporter is a Firefox add-on that allows you to export and import your saved usernames and passwords between Computers or keep as a backup copy. Your passwords will be exported to an XML or CSV file and can be encrypted.
Or, you can do it the manual way:
First, navigate yourself to your profiles folder and then you want to copy three files, they are named:
signons.txt
signons2.txt
key3.db
Copy and past them into the place you want to back them up to, and you are done. You can also move these three files to a new Firefox profile (say on a new computer, for example) if you wanted to have the same password information on your laptop.

How do I make FireFox my default browser?
I already have my firefox set as default browser, but whenever I get those AIM mail notifications and my friends send me hyperlinks via instant messaging, I can’t seem to get it to work by clicking on the links. I’d already tried going through the method of going to options under tooks and clicking main and checking it as default method. Doesn’t seem to work. Help please.

Download safari, and in options, if you change the default browser setting to firefox, it makes it default, and opens new windows in ff.
