How many days it will take to send a package through FedEx?
I’m sending a cell.phone and laptop to my parents in the Philippines through FedEx from USA. How many days will they have to wait for it to arrive? I just want to ask those people who have tried doing a transaction through FedEx before. Thank you.
Try to read my details before answering. Common sense, please. I’m posting this question because I need the answer from those people who have experienced sending a package though FedEx before so Mr. Genius don’t give me that kind of answer “Ask the dealer.” or “Google it up.”.
Michelle answers:
When my gf sent me something by FedEx, it took 4-5 days.
She is in the Philippines and I am in Dallas, Texas, in the US.

Is it possible to have shipments sent to FedEx locations instead of your home?
Is it possible to have shipments sent to FedEx locations instead of your home?
My uncle is mailing me a package through Fed Ex but I don’t want it delivered to my house, I would rather pick it up at a FedEx location near my house. Is this possible? Does he have to select an option like “hold at location’ or ‘will call’? Or can I just call Fed Ex once it ships and tell them my tracking number? (For this, do I call 1-800-GoFedEx or do I have to find the location hear my house and call them to request them to hold it for pickup?
Michelle answers:
Give them a call. It could go to one of their stores. You could pick it up there. You should check it out first though.

What does Fedex does to goods that they could not deliver to the recipient within 5 days?
What does Fedex does to goods that they could not deliver to the recipient within 5 days(due to some reason) of arrival at their”local FedEx facility”(the place where incoming international deliveries are stored before they are distributed nation wide).
Michelle answers:
It will be within 5 days of their actual ability to deliver rather than arrival at a hub. The standard practice is either to return to sender, sell at auction or throw away. Which choice they make depends on the sender and contents. I believe that they do give a little more leeway than they say though.

They leave a call tag on your door or with the landlord telling how you can arrange pickup……
