Your Questions About Natural Pregnancy Test

Helen asks…

Politics, abortion and the LSD. ?

Since Governor Palin’s addition to the Republican Presidential ticket has again brought up abortion as a discussion point for an election, consider this; if an anti-abortion law is passed, who will be responsible for policing it and how would they go about it?

Let’s imagine if pro-lifers get their way and abortion is again made illegal:

A woman goes to her doctor to get a pregnancy test and it comes back positive. To protect the child and assure the new law will not be broken, the doctor would have to call some newly created anti-abortion government department. Let’s call it the “Life Security Department”, LSD for short. There goes the woman’s privacy, because now the LSD knows she is pregnant and to protect the child, the woman most be put under a 24 hour, nine month “life watch” to make sure she does not make an attempt to receive an illegal abortion. Or better yet, to save some of the tax funding to the LSD, we simply force every woman who has been reported pregnant to show up at a local LSD office nine months later with a baby. The baby can then be DNA tested to prove it is hers. If no baby is produced in nine months, then she would need to provide the LSD with medical records proving a natural miscarriage.

Doctors selling out their patient’s privacy is not enough oversight though, what about keeping track of home pregnancy tests? We could tie the LSD into a bar code system that forces every business that sells pregnancy test to automatically record the name and address of the person who purchased one, so that the LSD can log her into their system for potential pregnancy tracking. But what if it was some friend or family member who purchased it for her? The LSD can take that person(s) to Guantanamo Bay and detain and interrogate them until they confess who and where the possibly pregnant woman is!!

What about women who don’t buy a test or don’t go to a doctor and just decide to wait to see if they miss a period and then go seek out illegal abortions? Simple solution: LSD funded neighborhood menstrual offices. Every American female of child bearing age would be required to register with the local LSD menstrual office and then provide once a month “proof” of menstruation. The “proof” would then go through DNA testing to assure she has not switched her “proof” with another non-pregnant woman.

If a woman somehow slips through LSD’s nearly air tight net and manages to obtain an abortion, or through deliberate action causes the early termination of her pregnancy, then it’s off to jail with her. The charge? Murder in the first degree, of course. Duh!! What else could be the charge for violating an established law that prohibits knowingly taking a human life, or haven’t pro-lifers thought that far ahead?

The reason abortion is legal in this country is because back when it was illegal, it didn’t work. It could not be properly policed or punished without extreme violations of privacy rights. IMO trying to make abortion illegal again is bar far the most short-sighted idea in the history of the modern world! Policing it would make what Homeland Security is doing seem like amateur night. So what would be the point of passing a law that would be created in theory to protect life, but has proven in the past to be unenforceable without privacy violations and if taken to its logical legal conclusion would result in life imprisonment or the death penalty for those who violate it?

Michelle answers:

Good thing a US President can’t make a decision like that. You really need to stop trying to scare people with things that can not and will not happen. This is the reason the US is not a dictatorship.

You have a very good imagination, you should become fiction writer.

helppppppp

Michelle answers:

You’re a perfectly healthy weight for your height and if you lost any weight you’d actually become underweight. If you are happy with yourself then that’s all that matters – my mother spent all of my life telling me to eat less and lose weight etc. It never affected me to the point of having an eating disorder – p**ed me right off though!! I’m sure you’re absolutely gorgeous, and you have no worries with your weight. Tell your mom to back off – it more than likely is something she’s constantly worried about her whole life, and seeing as how your grandma gangs up on you with her, she’s probably listened to it from her own mother all her life. Break the cycle, tell them to keep their thoughts to themselves and don’t do it to your children when you have them.
Stay gorgeous honey!!

Michelle answers:

You seem to be at a PERFECT weight. According to your BMI you are a 19.4, which is really good.

I too have horribly irregular periods. My doctor ran blood tests and think that I may have PCOS…although I have NO other symptoms at all. (I’m thin, not hairy…etc.) He wants me to try Medformin next month. He said that there is a coorelation to this med and regulating ovulation. If this doesn’t work he’s going to try this in addition to clomid. Clomid on it’s own may not sustain a pregnancy and I may have a miscarriage. He completely trust this doctor…and I’m going to try this and see what happens!

Why does your doctor think that you don’t have PCOS? There is a wide range of PCOS and you don’t have to have all the weird symptoms to have it. I totally did not think that I had PCOS, I just have irregular cycles…that’s it!

I hope this helps! Try not to stress (Yes, easier said than done…)but, stress can also have an effect on your menstrual cycle and for sure the ability to carry a baby.

Sharon asks…

after miscarriage need anwsers please!!!?

HI the doctor said i had a full natural miscarriage… does this mean once the bleeding stops all of the tissue is gone and no longer in me? also i went in today to take a pregnancy test after the misscarriage was last week and the pregnancy test was negative… does this mean my HCG is back to normal?? thanks in advance for all you help!!!
to dez… i know i misscarried and the baby is gone but i can not try to have another until my hcg is normal and the doctor made me take a pregnancy test and did not do blood work… i did not choose to do that on my own!!!

Michelle answers:

Yes, it means the fetus was fully expelled and you don’t need a D&C to remove any tissue. Pregnancy tests are given to see if you have any Hcg left in your body. That can potentially cause problems if the levels are high. Lack of it also indicates that your body did fully release all of the (
for lack of better word) tissue.
Have had a misscarriage, It does get better.
