Michelle answers:

My husband and I were TTC for a few months and I tested three times–all negative.

We both were very, very saddened…

We decided that maybe it wasn’t “our time” after all, that it might not be “meant to be” and after our anniversary we decided to go back to using birth control.

Our anniversary was our last try… I started to feel very tired at work (I wasn’t as fast and felt like I was struggling to have high energy) I had missed my period 3 weeks before (but the last test came out negative) THEN, what really woke me up was, I started having these twisted, intense nightmares and I woke up and told my hubby, “I have to test again.” It was total intuition! It came out POSITIVE!!!

We confirmed by getting a professional test from the doctor’s and sure enough, pregnant! It was the happiest news for both of us as we both had been trying and were crying and hugging each other and telling each other we loved one another!! It was very much welcomed, and kinda both a surprise and an accident because we were about to give up hope!

We are happily married and still married lol so 😉 I don’t know yet about where, we are still deciding that part, but I know I don’t want a water birth… It creeps me out! 😉

Donna asks…

I took 2 pregnancy tests, both were positive and my doctors appt. isn’t for another week….Please Help?!?!?!?

I think Id only be about six weeks along right now. I was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice on what to do to keep the baby safe and healthy? What to eat, what not to eat? What to do, what not to do? Anything that may help…. I’m just very nervous and im worried about every little thing that could be wrong or go wrong. Is it natural for me to be feeling this overload of emotions and worries? PLEASE, ANY HELP YOU CAN OFFER?!?!

Michelle answers:

If you are not already, take pre-natal vitamins – you can pick them up in the vitamin aisle at the pharmacy. Otherwise, eat healthy, don’t drink, don’t do drugs, don’t smoke and take it easy when you can.

Everything that you are feeling is normal – it is a wonderful, overwhelming feeling!

Congrats and best wishes!

Nancy asks…

High Natural Killers Cells causing miscarriage???

I have had one miscarriage already and the research behind it indicates that my high level of natural killer cells have caused it. I have been on metformin, vitamin E and baby asprin for the past couple months. We did another blood test to see how my natural killers have reacted and they have since increased. My doctor has said she will put me on predisone before doing invitro again, just wondering if anyone has been able to overcome high natural killer cells and have a successful pregnancy.

Michelle answers:

Never heard of it but keep trying!! Good luck and much baby dust to you!

William asks…

How soon do you get positive preg test after symptoms ?

Has IUI last monday (9/28) post-clomid, my last period was 9/13. My first pregnancy was natural and i had all the symptoms. For several days now ive had muscle aches in the groin area, cramping back aches. Today the nausea began (lots of it the first time, no real vomitting) and very emotional. Still testing negative. I know i might be testing early, but could this also be the result of clomid use, multiple eggs being released and no conception? I keep waiting for a BFP cuz i sure feel pregnant, but nothing yet. i dont really remember how i felt before i tested positive with my first, except some lower abdominal pain (like an appendicitis) and cramping. Any hope for me??

Michelle answers:

I finally got a (+) today and I am only about 10 DPO but I am not having any symptoms yet except some cramping. My cramping is felt in my lower back. Good luck. Email me if you need to 🙂
