Ruth asks…
Do light lines on pregnancy tests mean your not that far along?
I took 2 home pregnancy tests that were both positve but the lines were really light. Then I went to my local health dept this morning and it was also positive but the doctor told me it was really really light. What does that mean? Does it mean I am just not that far along? I am really irregular so I could be anywhere from 3 months to just a few weeks pregnant. I also need to find a good doctor and not sure how to do that without just visiting lots of different ones. I had a horrible experience with my the doctor I had when I was pregnant with my daughter. He told me he thought my bones were too narrow but we would try natural anyway. He let me push for 3 hours and then had to rush me to the OR for a c-section. The had a hard time getting her out because she was caught in the birth canal. After it was all said and done, he came to my room and told me and my husband that he wouldnt try to have any more because it was just too risky. I didnt have any complications, and the reason she was caught in the birth canal was because he left me pushing for 3 hours. Why would he say that? If there were other issues, he sure did not let us know about it. When I asked him why he just didnt answer.
Michelle answers:
I know that the farther along I was in my pregnancy, the darker the lines were. In the beginning, they were barely visible, which I was around 3-4 weeks pregnant. I’m just an experimental type person, so I took alot of the cheapo tests until I was around 8 weeks, to see what they look like. At about 8 weeks they were so dark they looked purple. Alot of people say not to count on that but I have some pics that show the extreme progression over a few weeks’ time. I would say you are probably just a few weeks. If you were 3 months, the lines wouldn’t be light at all. As far as your other situation goes, I would definitely find another doctor. That’s ridiculous he did/said that. Good luck!

Carol asks…
Can I stimulate ovulation and AF without drugs?
After being on the pill for a year and a half I went off it in Feb. I haven’t had a period since. I’ve taken lots of pregnancy tests (the last one I took was yesterday) and they all came back negative. Since I’m not having a period I’m not ovulating. Is there any natural way to help them come back? I’m not a big fan of drugs. Thanks!
Michelle answers:
Hi sweetheart, there are very few options. . . However, I highly recommend acupuncture. It can help stimulate you to ovulate in a very natural/homeopathic way. Look into it – it’s been quite successful.
Good luck!

Is there really a natural way to abort?
So this girl, ill call her erin recently found out shes pregnant. now shes a little weird.
she has taken probably about a 100 dollars worth of pregnancy tests and finally decided its true,
shes talking about doing a natural abortion…? what the hell is a natural abortion? i mean ive read things about people doing things but usually killing themselves in the process…
anyone care to explain? or is this girl just a retard
shes 3 years older than i am and im 19. i thought it was murder because i mean…come on already. shes all like into natural things so she wants a natural abortion.
Michelle answers:
Abortion is not natural so I can’t imagine what she is going to try. When I was young I used to hear old wives tails about certain herbal mixtures you could drink that would cause you to miscarry but I sure wouldn’t recommend any one trying it. If she doesn’t want the child I hope she will have it anyway and let some one who really wants a baby have it but if she is determined to get rid of it tell her to please at least go to a clinic where it is safe. A miscarriage usually occurs naturally when there is something wrong with the pregnancy. It is natures way of preventing many birth defects.
