Your Questions About Natural Pregnancy Test

George asks…

PreSeed Pregnancy Tests?

Has anyone ordered PreSeed online and received their pregnancy tests? Can you tell me how to use it and interpret the results? They’re these little plastic strips with no instructions. I used one and got a pink line with faint pink shading up to the point of the line. Not knowing what this meant, I had my dh pee on the other one!! He got the same pink line but had no pink shading. I’m two days late and have been trying to self-treat a short luteal phase with vitamins and natural progesterone cream but only for the most recent cycle. I felt sure that it would take longer to regulate my cycle than just a month and had kind of written-off my TTC (though we BD’d plently!) but now my luteal phase is 11 days and counting, no period, my basal temps are still up and I think I see a triphasic pattern to my temperature chart. So I’m hoping!

So after all that info, can anyone help me interpret these crazy pregnancy tests??

Michelle answers:

Are the tests AimStick Professional brand? If so, I believe that you’re seeing a positive result. Here is the website I found on interpreting results: http://www.babyhopes.com/pregstripinfo.html. Good luck!

Chris asks…

Pregnancy tests sensitivity?

My cycles are usually between 28 and 34 days long. Since starting my period about 10 years ago only one cycle went over that was last year. After I had finished 6 months worth of clomid and estrogen course after finding out I have PCOS.

My last period was 4th Aug 2010 today is the 1st Oct 2010 and still no AF. I have just read that women who have PCO’s have a lower HCG level than other women. I have done 3 tests up to last week all neg, but the sensitivity was quite low on them.

So my question is. Which pregnancy tests have the highest sensitivity. I mean surely i should be getting a + by now if i was pregnant.

I am currently on no treatment atm, taking no medication or anything. Just all natural.

Michelle answers:

Most of the pregnancy tests today are extremely sensitive. I have used about every brand you can buy and my favorite is First Response. I always got a positive result before my period was due. I was on clomid my last cycle & know the day I ovulated. I tested 9 days after conception and got a positive test! Then I ran to Dollar Tree & bought 5 more of the cheap tests and they were all positive. If I were you I would give the clomid another try. Best wishes!!

Helen asks…

took 2 home pregnancy tests –?

i took 2 home pregnancy tests, one at night because i REALLY had to pee (did not drink a bunch to make this happen so i could pee quicker or ne thing…natural urine cycle)

then i took another in the morning.
It was the first response brand, i followed the instructions
EXACTLY.

both came out negative.
also i never missed a period…but i know you can still be pregnant even if you get it so i want to make sure

since the results show a negative for both tests, & i never missed my period, what are the possibilities that i can be pregnant after all?
never had unprotected sex btw.
I LOVE WHEN PEOPLEGET ALL SNOTTY AND DONT READ THE ENTIRE QUESTION AND THEN ACT LIKE THEY KNOW SH**.

Michelle answers:
