Michelle answers:
The BEST time to take a pregnancy test is when you miss your period. When was your last period? It’ll be around that time.

1st response pregnancy test results?
I took a first response pregnancy test today 6 days early, i used it with my first urine of the day as this is meant to be the strongest, i thought it was negative then when i went outside in natural daylight there appeared to be a very faint positive line, i’m going to test again on friday 3 days before my period is due, this will be my second pregnancy as i already have 1 son, i feel pregnant but the test has confused me., anyone else had similar. Thanks
Sending you all baby dust xxxx
Michelle answers:
If you had to take it out in the sun, it sounds like you were observing the area where the line would appear if you were pregnant, sorry.
The good news is, if you are pregnant, it’s much more likely that a home test will show negative right now, so a negative result doesn’t actually mean anything.
It takes 6-10 days for a fertilized egg to implant (so we’re talking about 6-10 days from ovulation). Once it implants, THEN your body starts producing the hormone the test is trying to detect. If there’s not enough hormone yet, or if your egg hasn’t even implanted, then the test WILL come back negative. It doesn’t mean it’s true! 🙂 Personally I test each morning starting on day 12 past ovulation, but some women have gotten positives as early as 9 days past. By 14 days past ovulation, you’ll have the best chances at an accurate result.
So what I am saying is, just keep testing, mama! 😉 Good luck & baby dust!

Linda asks…
How soon can Pregnancy after miscarriage happen?
I was wondering, about three weeks ago, I had a miscarriage, it was natural. no D&C and I bled for about 6 or 7 days, like a normal cycle. 2 days after bleeding stopped we had sex for four days straight, dr said it was okay. I was probably 5-6 weeks along. Anyways, it has been three weeks and I took a prego test and it said positive, is it the stupid miscarriage pregnancy hormone showing up or could it be a positive pregnancy test?
Michelle answers:
I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and 5 days back in July. The HCG stayed in my system for 3 weeks after the MC bleeding stopped. However, everyone’s body is different, and you very well could be pregnant again.
I am still waiting for my miracle, and I am hoping this is my month! Hopefully , you are getting another miracle now! Good luck!!!
