How to release more than one egg?
I know it’s a long shot, but I was wondering if there is a way to get your ovaries to release more than one egg. Preferably, I’m looking for natural ways to get the ovaries to release 2 eggs, as I know you can have IVF, take certain drugs that will liken your chances of 2 eggs releasing, etc.
Does anyone know of any proven ways? Thanks, even if the answer is no!
Michelle answers:
Multiple ovulation is possible… That’s how people have fraternal twins… But Idk if you can force your body to do so without the use of fertility drugs or medical intervention.

Cant cope with wife…IVF HELL! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!?
I am a male and Im unable to conceive the natural way. (due to a health condition)
I had to have a testiciclur biospsy in order for us to get sperm. I have sperm stored at the hospital (frozen)
In order to proceed with IVF (ICSI) we had to attend a seminar which was to educate us of the process. About 100 people attended the seminar.
I felt very uncomfortable, and so did my wife. As we entered the room where the seminar was being held my wife kicked off (stampinghher feet, hufffing, tutting) I tried to calm her down but she made it obvious to EVERYONE she didnt want to be there.
During the seminar she put cotton wool in her ears and started reading a book! Thought the whole seminar she was muttering things. My wife made the whole experience 100 times worse.
When I confronted her after the seminar, she stated that she felt very uncomfortable in the room. I explained that everyone was in the same boat and nobody was singled out. I also informed her that I was the one who had
the medical complaint, so if anyodoy should feel uncomfortable it should have been ME!
my wife cant see that she was in the wrong. Going through IVF is stressful and Im not sure she will be able to cope.
I tried talking to her about it and she has twisted things round and made me look the bad one (for being in a mood with her!)
I said to her last night that I dont think she is in the right right frame of mind to go ahead with IVF. Her reply was “go and find another women who will go through this for you!”
After some deep thought, I said maybe we should hold back on the IVF for a few years, She agreed and phoned me today to tell me she was called the hospital to cancel all treatment! She informs me she has put this in writing to them aswell.
Now shes blaming me!
Michelle answers:
Your wife is not ready to become a mother.
She has no compassion or patience and is self-absorbed.
Any children you have would suffer.

RE: IVF, If a fertilized embryo is frozen for 5 years then inseminated, surely the baby would have problems?
Does anyone else think IVF is just not natural?
I mean, sperm and egg weren’t meant to last outside of the Human Body for too long…yet scientists are now playing God by mixing sperm+egg in a Petri Dish, then freezing them for 5+ years…and then the couple decides years down the track to insert the embryo into the woman?
Surely there must be some long-term effects on the baby? Would a baby grow up “normal” if it had actually been frozen for 5 years before?! It just doesn’t seem right/natural and is not the way God intended couples to conceive!
Having children is NOT a right! If you are barren…then tough. That is your lot in life.
Michelle answers:
There is absolutely no evidence to show that an IVF baby is more likely to have developmental issues than a naturally born baby. The processes are exactly the same, the only difference is that in IVF fertilization occurs outside of the body.
You also must realize that it is certainly not a baby that has been frozen for 5 years, rather a collection of single celled gametes.
P.S. (I am assuming you believe in god) If god created humans, and humans invented IVF, god created IVF.

Best IVF Doctor in UAE?
After a lot of consultations, I have realized that natural way ( even IUI) is never going to work for me. Can you suggest a good IVF doctor in UAE. Whom did you visit and how was the experience? I am considering Dr Ashraf of Al Taif/Craft. Has anyone been to Craft? How was experience there? I want to avoid unnecessary frustrations (TTC is frustrating enough) . I would like to deal with humane doctors. Please sahre your experiences with IVF
Michelle answers:
Hello
You are right – ttc using IVF or any other fertility treatment is incredibly frustrating. It’s one big waiting game.
I live in the UK but thought I’d give you a link to a site that I can highly recommned:-
www.fertilityfriends.co.uk
This is a UK based website however they have boards for lots of other countries including Dubai (not sure if that’s of any use to you) as well as clinic reviews for clinics that are outside the UK. Also, you’ll find lots and lots of support on this site from people in the same situation as you and will, of course, be able to ask questions to people who have experienced fertility treatment as well as those going through treatment now.
With regard to the clinics themselves I would adise you to contact each one that you are considering and ask to go along and see the clinic and meet some of the staff.
From my experience I think you will find that staff at fertility clinics are, by nature, quite kind, caring and sensitive to your situation and your needs.
I wish you the best of luck and send babydust your way.
Indigo.
