Questions about pregnancy?
I am not sure that I am pregnant, bf and I have been having sex and he has cum in me a lot, but if I am now or for future reference…
1. Is it safe to go into a hottub at all during preganancy? If yes, when?
2. My boyfriend lifts weights a ton and takes a few things that are all natural so not worried about that, but he wants to take methyl 1-D and I was wondering if that is safe and or good and could it affect chances of me getting pregnant and could it harm him a ton?
3. Also do you know if someone cums in you or if they make it up and say they did?
4. Also is it safe to go swimming during pregnancy?
5. Are there any good books you would recommend to answer more questions about all of this stuff?
What about getting a foil done while pregnant? What if you dont know you are pregnant and it happens or u go into the hot tub
Michelle answers:
1. No it isn’t safe to go into a hot tub at all during your pregnancy.
2. If Methyl 1-D is a steriod, then that will affect your chances of getting pregnant because using steriods actually does reduce a man’s sperm count.
3. Sometimes you could tell because it does tend to leak out of you after sex. But you never know, some guys could actually be lying about it also.
4. It is completely safe to go swimming during pregnancy.
5. The mother of all pregnancy books.
You could find it at babies r us and at other books stores. It’s very informative.

Pregnancy questions….?
I recently posted a question about a negative test and what I should do since I hadn’t had my period for the month of August and do not show any signs of having my period at all.
I am a smoker and want to know how to quit smoking effectively. I heard that if you quit suddenly it could be bad. Any websites or books would be helpful.
Food intake: what books are good for finding out the best foods to eat. Extra note: I do not like to eat meat! Also I do not drink milk. I prefer soymilk. What should I eat or drink to replace these? What is the best soy milk to drink while pregnant?
I have over the counter prenatal vitamins are those okay to take now until I find out for sure and a doctor prescribes me some?
Any other books or information about a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby will be great.
Also if I am pregnant I want to have a natural child birth. Only for the fact that I hate medication and I hate the feeling of being medicated. I seriously would rather die than to be medicated. I was medicated for surgery a few months ago because I was having bad headaches (didn’t have surgery they just did it because if my CAT scan showed something I was going in for surgery immediately). Is there anything to help me have a better child birth?
Any exercises better to do? I know yoga is really good and I am going to sign up for the next class.
Michelle answers:
Quitting suddenly is not bad–sometimes quitting immediately works for a lot of people if they are quiting for the right reasons and not for other people, i personally do not like to idea of have the nicotine patches as you are still getting the nicotine you are addicted too and i have seen a few times that it can make it harder to quit. So you have to know what would suit you better. Also figuring out the reasons why your smoke is a good idea as you can work on avoiding these and not ignoring WHY and instead opting to get away and smoke.
I like “Feeding your bump” a very good book about what to eat during pregnancy and it isn’t all filled with recipes which you’ll never make, but it does have a couple recipes in there.
Yes it if fine to take prenatal vitamins now. Just don’t take normal vitamins if you could be pregnant
A book i HIGHLY recommend for a natural birth is “Ina Mays Guide to Childbirth”, it is absolutely amazing and is a must read especially if you are wanting a natural birth.
If you want to chat about natural birth youre more than welcome to e-mail me, i can give you tips and advice etc =)

Wondering about labour from the moms out their!?
I know I have a long ways to go but I was just wondering * and yes ill ask my doctor) but I was just wondering when would you say to go to the hospital to give birth? I want to have an epidural and I know you can’t have it if your so many cm dilated, so would you maybe go earlier then someone who wanted an all natural birth?
And I think Ive been feeling my baby (quickening my pregnancy book calls it) But when i went to my doctors a week and a bit ago, She said I wouldn’t feel any movement for another 2-3 weeks. MY book even says from 16-20 weeks but by what she was trying to tell me not until Im 19-20 wks. This is my first pregnancy,
It feels like like taps but in my stomach under my belly button. And I know it wasnt gas, because I didnt have any…..(sorry tmi) And sometimes almost describe it as little flutters like when you get a butterfly but very faint…. Would this be the baby, And why would my doctor say YOU for sure wont feel anything until almost or 5 months pregnant.
Im 18 wks today! The first time I felt it, I think I was a little over 15 wks (however It was only for a quick second and only one time) its mostly been other then once again at 17 wks) been recently and I notice it when im sitting, at the cmp or laying down.
And sorry forgot too add, Do you remember how many weeks you were around before your partner or other people could feel your baby kick or punch ?
Michelle answers:
If you have to have a C-Section, a doctor will schedule for you to come in to get things started, the epidural and all.
If you happen to go into labor,…doctors will not just up and give you an epidural, not unless you request it, because the pain is too much for you to bare. Epidurals are safe but can be kinda risky…hopefully not too many doctors are pushing women into taking those pain killers, these days. ( For the sake of billing expenses.) Try to do natural with the aid of maybe something to help you sleep, relax you. If the pain is too much,…get the epidural, but of course.
As far as feeling your baby…dont listen to the doc when it comes to what your body feels…in regards to kicking. Those butterflies are the little baby floating around bumping into things. Just wait a few more months down the line, you will really be surprised by what your little one will be doing. Normally the partner can feel the baby four months on up..depending on the size of the baby and stomach. Some women have have extra weight around the belly area, which makes it harder for others to feel the baby…etc.
Congrats…enjoy the journey.

C-section vs natural with twins.?
Hiya everyone
Ok i am 35 weeks pregnant with non id twin boys and just found out today that twin 2 is flexed breech and is very unlikely he will turn into position , twin 1 is head down ready for action!! All the way through my pregnancy we have planned for a natural birth, i already have a 5 year old son and had a natural birth no problems. The thing is i have heard so many horror stories about delivering breech babies and am starting to think i want to have a c section now just to avoid any problems that could happen during labour. I have another scan booked for next monday and am having a sweep and also getting an induction date for possible next week or the week after (36/37 weeks). My consultant has basically said its my choice what to do but i’m not sure, i do want to deliver naturally but not a breech baby but then i feel i’ll be cheating having a section.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Lets go mets – Get a life you sad little loser, hope you can never have kids!!
Michelle answers:
I say go for natural if you can, as long as there are no problems in pregnancy or labour i don’t see why not and you can give birth naturally to breech babies,or like the lady before me mentioned the baby could turn once the other twin is out. At the end of the day its your decision and if it was me id stick with natural cus the thought of c-section doesn’t sound nice to me obviously if it were an emergency then you have to do what’s best for the babies and you and its not cheating. But i wouldn’t opt for a section what with the healing and you’ll have 2 tiny babies to care for id wanna be up and around like i was when i had my daughter, so that’d be my choice talk with your midwife and consultant some more for re-assurance , all the best to you and your babys x
