Holistic Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Childcare Resources?
I am looking for websites, books, movies, etc. on holistic pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare. So far, I have only found two websites and a handful of books. If anyone could lead me toward more resources on natural pregnancy and childbirth I would be so grateful. Things such as homeopathic remedies, alternative medicines, as well as unconventional pregnancy and child care.
Thanks!

Check out the Bradley method. They advocate intervention-free birth.

Anyone have any natural remedies ect help please!? Thanks x

I had rich tea or ginger biscuits in the morning before i got up, rich tea worked a little for me but it might not with everyone. She should go to the doctors if it’s really bad

pregnancy – nausea for a working lady?
hi.
i am a working laday and in my 7th week of pregnancy. i do not have vomitting but i do feel tired the whole day… i feel very very sleepy too. is there any natural remedy to get rid of this as i am unable to concentrate on my work at office.
Michelle answers:
It’s very common to feel excessively tired early in pregnancy. It’s your body adapting to the change in hormones. Be sure to eat a good breakfast, and try to enjoy some light exercise in the morning. That should help wake you up, and keep you energized.

George asks…
what is natural remedy for morning sickness-what is ‘normal’ length/timing of sickness period?
19yr old @ 4 months – 1st pregnancy
Michelle answers:
Most women get over their morning sickness after the first trimester; but some continue the entire pregnancy. Be careful with natural remedies when pregnant; but, ginger is a natural remedy that has been used “safely” for years and years. Also, try getting plenty of protein before going to sleep. I used to make myself eat a couple of crackers with peanut butter or some cheddar cheese (I ready somewhere that the protein would stick with you longer, resulting in a decreased risk for morning sickness). I also kept a pack of saltine crackers at my bedside, when I woke up in the morning, I would eat 3 or 4 and wait a couple of minutes before getting up.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
