Joseph asks…
Natural Pregnancy Products?
I just found out I am pregnant and am really paranoid about things being absorbed through my skin. Does anyone know of good products for a healthy pregnancy? Lotions, shampoos, etc
what about deodorant? It contains Aluminum, which I hear is bad even if you are not pregnant. Also, I use prescription deodorant about once a week – is that okay?
Michelle answers:
Congratulations!
There are pregnancy lotions for stretch marks and stuff. You can use that for regular lotions. You can use Usana Shampoos, you can order online. It is suppost to be natural or something like that… I used it throughout my whole pregnancy. I don’t know about deodrant, but most natural deodrants aren’t that great… I aways was worried about putting deodrant on right after I shaved because of tiny cuts you can’t see.
Two weeks before I had my baby I got lice!!! I was so mad and worried about the shampoo. My baby is fine and the doctor told me what kind to use (so the baby was pretty much developed but I think we all want to do what is best for baby

what are natural products to take for allergies while pregnant?
I also have a hard trouble breathing due to my allergies (not gasping or anything). I don’t want to take Claratin for the rest of my pregnancy. So any natural products or home remedies. Thank you.
Michelle answers:
Use a neti pot. It washes out sinuses and nasal passages using a warm saline solution. No drugs. And it does work.

If latex products make me itchy & I can’t use em, is that a sign that I have a natural immunity to pregnancy?
You know, like latex in condoms. Can’t use = don’t need to use. Get it now?
Michelle answers:
You can buy latex free ones, lol em you make me crack up!
Michael asks…
Has anyone tried any natural breast reduction products(pills). Do they really work?
I have gone from a 34C to a 34DDD after 2 pregnancies. I don’t want to loose body wieght and I don’t want surgery. I want to get back down to my normal bust size.
I am 4’11, petite size 8, slim build. I don’t need to loose weight. However, my bust size has gone from a 34C to a 34DDD after 2 pregnancies. The top heaviness is very uncomfortable. I prefer an alternative to surgery.
Michelle answers:
There are no pills that will shrink any part of the body. Only exercise and eating right can shrink you all over.
Now, how recent was your last pregnancy? I know that they don’t hand these pills out anymore, but you may be able to request them. When my mother was pregnant with me she got pills that dried up the milk, thus shrinking her breasts to their normal size. You may want to speak with your doctor about these pills.
