Firefox. Period.
IE is prone to bugs like the website restore errors. Also, it is slower.
Assume a 17KB webpage takes longer to load on IE than on Firefox.

i am running windows Vista #1 i have Yahoo Messenger 8.1 every link i get sent opens in IE not firefox my defalt browser is Firefox as well as the email link in the will open IE i need this ot be switched so everything is opend in Firefox if you have any sugestions that woudl be great

When FireFox is open go up to tools>Options>Main
The bottom box check that check to see if FireFox is the default hit apply & close FireFox once you re-load it you should be ok.

Firefox is for internet browing –> like internet explorer
thunderbird is for reading emails –> like microsoft outlook
i like firefox a lot and it might be the best browser out there, and i use gmail and yahoo mail using firefox

firefox 3 or firefox 2?
ok so i just downloaded firefox 3 and it said that it was avalable for testing purposes only. does this mean that it is not fully ready to become a web browser yet? if its not ready, then is it good to dowload firefox 2 or should i just wait for firefox 3 to become comepletely ready? (i really want to download one of them though)

Firefox 3 (official version) will be released sometime mid-June this year. I personally love it, especially because of how you can start typing a keyword in your address bar and it will search your history for site names that match.
If you’re worried about it being still a little unstable though (and especially if you’re first trying out Firefox) then just go for FF2.
