Why are my cookies cleared when I close Firefox?
Every time I close Firefox and come back on, my log-in information for certain websites is cleared. I have the option to accept cookies until they expire, but apparently they do expire anyway. Is there any way to stop it?
I use Mozilla Firefox 3.0.6.
I have it so that my “Private Data” isn’t cleared each time I exit.
I tired the Firefox support forum, but I received no answer, so that’s why I’m asking Yahoo.
Michelle answers:
If you’re having trouble with cookies I suggest using Firefox’s own option to save login info, so when you enter your login/password and Firefox asks “Do you want Firefox to remember this password”, say yes!

How I fix my windows media player for xp after uninstalling firefox?
I took the firefox off after IE got there site fixed, my media player hasn’t worked since. Any download name I can go back and get to make it work again?
Michelle answers:
Hi liro 9,
Firefox and Windows Media Player don’t have any connection, really. If you’re having problems with your Windows Media Player, you might want to install the latest version. You can grab that here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/mediaplayer/default.mspx.

Will my bookmarks get saved if I uninstall and reinstall mozilla firefox?
When I click on the firefox icon on my desktop, firefox takes up to 2 minutes to load and it never used to do this. It would always open up like 3 seconds after I clicked the desktop icon. The slowness seemed to have started when I updated to version 4. Any suggestions on what to do? Should I just reinstall it? Can it somehow save all my bookmarks?
Michelle answers:
Yes firefox usually asks you if you want to save your bookmarks and passwords once your about to uninstall it.

What add-on for Firefox could I use to have multiple pages open up when I turn on Firefox?
I want my Firefox to open, but with multiple tabs, besides just my yahoo homepage. What add-on could I use for this?
Michelle answers:
You don´t need an add-on. At least in Firefox 9.
Howto: Open all the web pages you intend to open on startup.
Goto Tools>Options>General>Startup:Use current pages.
