Is it possible to download and install updates using the Firefox browser?
I like Firefox quite a bit and would like use it as my default browser instead of Internet Explorer 8. Would I still be able to download and install microsoft updates?

You cannot use Firefox to download from the Microsoft Update site. Turn on Automatic Updates instead – then you get the best of both worlds

How do I transfer my favorites from IE to Firefox?
Someone downloaded Firefox on my computer recently, and I’ve switched at work too. When I did it at work it asked me if I wanted my favorites to go too, and they did. How do I change it if Firefox has already been installed? Any ideas?

Open Firefox, click on File, then Import. It will give you the option to import from IE, click next. Choose what you want to import from IE, click next, it will import, then click finish, your done.

How to stop my homepage opening up everytime when I open a new tab in Firefox 9?
Its so irritating and it takes some time!! In the new Firefox 9 I cant find any option . I have Multiple Tab Handler,Mar Mod ,Undo closed tabs add-ons installed. Are these causing the problems?

How do I move my firefox to another computer?
I have just gotten an Eee, and want to get firefox on it. The problem is that almost all of my bookmarks have icons I added with Favicon Picker 3. Is there anyway to move those icons? Cause I don’t know where I found them before.

In Firefox click Bookmarks – Manage Bookmarks – File – Export
Export them to a cd/dvd/flash drive
Install Firefox on your Eee
Once Firefox is installed navigate to C:Documents and SettingsUserApplication DataMozillaFirefoxProfilesgx8cc284.default
User is your username and gx8cc284.default user will be some other randomly created string of numbers and letters
Drag your exported file here and all will be good to go.
