How to customize my firefox navigation tool bar?
I know this sounds easy, but there’s an issue with my firefox. It occurred after I updated Vuze (but not sure if vuze is actually the issue). This amazon and ebay icon appeared on my tool bar and I can’t seem to get it off. It’s quite annoying since I never go on either website and it takes up space on my tool bar. I’m using a mac lion btw.
Michelle answers:
The Amazon and ebay icons mean that you have an add-on installed. If you don’t need them, you should remove the respective add-on(s). Go to Tools in the top bar of Firefox and select Add-ons (or press Ctrl+Shift+A). Select Extensions in the Add-on manager. Now identify any add-on related to Amazon and ebay. If present simple press the Remove button against the add-on name.
If you are unable to find the add-on and want to remove the icons, follow this: Right click on a white space in the navigation toolbar. Select Customize from the menu. A new window will appear. Move the mouse over the Amazon icon, while press the left click drag the icon to the customize window. The icon will move. Do same with other icon. Now your toolbar is free of those icons.

Michelle answers:
Change the homepage to www.google.com
in Firefox:
– Navigate to the page you want set as your home page.
– At the top of the Firefox window, on the menu bar, click on the Tools > Firefox > Edit menu, and select Options > Preferences
– Click on Use Current Pages.

How to return to default Firefox display settings?
I was tinkering with my firefox settings (ignorantly) and changed something major accidentally. My browser is mostly white now, but still functional. Some images do not appear at all however, and this is quite problematic. Is there anyway to go back to the original settings?
Michelle answers:
The best way is too uninstall firefox.
Then reinstall.
