How can I obtain a lost Fedex tracking number?
The sender of my package lost the tracking number he sent me and I need this tracking number because I am hardly home. I need to know when the package will be delivered. I was unsure if Fedex would give it to me over the phone. Has anyone has experience with this? Thanks.

I’ve had this problem before. Call FedEX, and you can give them the delivery address, date it was shipped, and the address is originated from. They found my package this way. I’m sure if you don’t know all the info they can help.

Do you have to sign for Fedex packages and will they leave it at the door if I’m not home?
I preordered Call of Duty: Black ops and it’s supposed to come tomorrow via Fedex. Also I live in a suburban area with lots of houses and a porch.
it’s from amazon
Michelle answers:
It’s probably not a signature required – Amazon usually only asks for one if the item is worth over $500. To be sure, you can leave a note for FedEx on the door asking them to leave the package, and be sure you sign it. They’ll be able to leave it for you the first day even if there is a signature request.
David asks…
At what time do certain courier delivery services such as Fedex deliver?
For example, I live in New York(Brooklyn) at Zip Code 11235.
If I ordered from USPS, UPS, Fedex, is it part of their schedule/policy to deliver between let’s say 8 AM to 5 PM?
I need to know because there’s a package I want shipped that I don’t want my friend to find out, it’s a birthday present.
Michelle answers:
Each carrier has differnt service levels, and each of those levels has a delivery commitment time that differs based on zip code.
First Overnight is before 8:30 AM, Priority Overnight is between 10:30 (UPS) and Noon (FedEx), Express Saver or Standard overnight is later in the afternoon, then there are all sorts of 2 and 3 day air shipments and ground (which can be late at night).
Each of the carriers has their own web site which will give you the delivery commitments and costs based on where it’s being shipped from and to, the type of delivery address (home or business) and the service level you select.
Your selection of service level and delivery date on ups.com and fedex.com will tell you when it should be delivered (but that can change because of weather and other factors)

Is it possible to have shipments sent to FedEx locations instead of your home?
My uncle is mailing me a package through Fed Ex but I don’t want it delivered to my house, I would rather pick it up at a FedEx location near my house. Is this possible? Does he have to select an option like “hold at location’ or ‘will call’? Or can I just call Fed Ex once it ships and tell them my tracking number? (For this, do I call 1-800-GoFedEx or do I have to find the location hear my house and call them to request them to hold it for pickup?
Michelle answers:
Yes it is in fact
